When I have a document open.. with Palette Dock open. I have selected check spelling as I go and the Language Palette open. if you do a find all of '\n'

it will highlight all new lines and then in the finder window list all the \n that were found

It seems like an applescript should work to, but I am just learning that...

Do you want to have MLA formating, or a page that opens with that style?

You might want to create a Paragraph style and give a short cut like shift cmd-1 so you can make your biblography, then format it with a key stroke

I am not sure if that is where you were headed, hope it helps

Does anyone know if it is possible to assign keyboard shortcuts for menu keys without using the Command key on every shortcut?
