Problem with NWE 3 ruler
I tried NWE 3 and NWP 1 demos and found an irritating bug with the rulers where it doesn't redraw properly after I adjust the margins or hanging indent. Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about:
BTW, NWE 2.7 doesn't exhibit this behavior.

Re: same problem here
Obviously there is something seriously wrong with your setup and/or NWE installation as that is not normal.sickbar wrote:new user with MBP 2.0ghz with 2g ram.

Re: Slow!
Heyho, New user here. Am I the only person that finds text imput rather slow? When inserting new text into a paragraph when there are a number of pages following, it can take a good half-second or so before what I type shows up. It doesn't seem to get much better if I do not justify the text. While...

Like many of you, I debated over both Mellel and NWE before buying NWE. My primary concern was on being able to exchange documents and so I tested both applications with a simple document that contained tables, images, and text. NWE easily beat Mellel in this category and was much easier to work wit...

If any of you have any comments on anything besides how hideous our icons are, we're happy to hear it ;) Especially if you do work with footnotes and endnotes, since we'd really like to make them solid for this release. We appreciate you concentrating on the things that are important such as functi...

I believe this will be fixed in the next version. As a temporary measure, do you see the two faint horizontal lines at the bottom of the palette? If you drag those upward, the palette will change shape and, at a certain point, the Family field will change form. Does that help you for the time being...

I set up a custom palette and added the font family thing to it. That works but it uses a pulldown gadget instead of the listview one. Edit: you're right, when I expand that newly created character palette it has the scrollbar and up/down arrows. It's the stock one that's messed up. Edit2: Ahhh...an...

NWE 2.6 Character-->Family Bug
There's been a bug in NWE for quite a few revisions involving the Font Family listview in the Character palette. The screenshot I've attached shows my problem: no up/down or scroll arrow on the side of the listview. this makes it difficult to pick a font :) Luckily, I can use my scroll wheel on my m...

I tried (and failed) to write a simple macro. ... When I reopened the doc, all the text was gone. All 410 pages! ... I eventually retrieved the doc via Spotlight (or whatever it's called) but my work of the afternoon was gone. You are lucky to have recovered most of that enormous document. I may wr...

Re: Express for Intel (official 2.6.1 beta thread)
Hi everybody, just after our 2.6 beta, here we go again! We've made a "universal binary" version of Express. This version will run on all those new Intel machines, but besides that, will have no new features. ---snip--- I have NO intention of ever buying any of the new machines with the i...

Re: thanks
You obviously used Nisus Classic for a reason and were capable of being published (e.g. save and email or export and email). Why can't you just open your document in Nisus and go from there?disfasia wrote:thanks to everyone. so what do you mean by "publish it from there?"
