I don't think that helps much, but thanks for trying. My frustration is clearly the responsibility of the Adobe PDF format, and not Nisus Writer Express. Just another case of programers promising something, and not realizing their paragraphs of requirements to make something work doesn't fly well wi...

If you're using #PCMyungjo for non-CJK (Chinese/Japanese/Korean) text, it would probably be simplest to use a different font. --Craig It was just another english font available from the Nissus Writer Express font menu. I liked the look. Apparently only a few fonts can be used for cross platform pri...

So it's confirmed that PDF's are useless for cross platform printing.

It would be valuable to have a list of fonts, if such a thing exists, that will actually function at cross platform printing. My needs are minimal, but I would like the fsck thing to print.

Printing PDF's

I create a document with headers and footers, and it looks fine, and I save as PDF, and the PDF looks fine on my mac, but when I send it to Kinko's for printing, there is a problem (if I remember right, with the header which is in a different font). Kinko's works around the problem by printing the d...

All right, I've figured out how to insert a section break on the same page, and inserting a column into the first section, but getting the column format sorted is a collosal hassle. I'm not understanding how the application is thinking. For sure if you put the section break at the end of the text yo...

User Interface

I just purchased NWE, but it was a very close call and I really wanted to go with Mellel as, to my taste, it looks so damm good. I'll probably get used to NWE, and this board and a few other things swung me to get this program, but I'm curious whether there is currently any other 'skin' for the prog...

White on Black

I know I'm in a vastly minority position here, but I have always GREATLY preferred a computer screen that displayed light text on a dark background. Ironically, I find some validation for this in the OS X 'Universal Access - Switch to White on Black' help information which confirms that this type of...
