Re: Bug when changing image from inline to float
Thank you for that. With the second file I posted it worked as you describe. With the first one, the image disappears when you convert to float; bizarrely, moving the original layout image slightly brings it back... What I would really like to see is a preference to set dragged-in images appear as f...

Re: Bug when changing image from inline to float
The movement to a second page doesn't happen with the file I attached, only with the experiment I did. Try the experiment with the files attached herewith. Open Bug test.rtf then drag timemachine.jpg where indicated - the text line above the large rectangle. When I do this both images move to a seco...

Bug when changing image from inline to float
This only applies in one particular document (attached) where it worked OK before. I've managed a workaround, but it does suggest a bug which may surface elsewhere. In the previous version of Nisus, I could drag an image into the attached document (which contains lines for resizing which are then de...

Re: 2.1: backwards compatibility
Thanks for the answers. Hyperlinks aren't an issue for me, but Applescript certainly is - I have an important workflow using QuicKeys and Applescript and invovling both Nisus and Filemaker Pro, and no wish to spend hours rewriting it... Presumably both versions are standalone applications, so as lon...

2.1: backwards compatibility
I have Macs running both Mavericks and Snow Leopard. If I upgrade the Mavericks Mac to NW 2.1 will I have any problems opening files it's created on the Snow Leopard Macs running NW 2.0.7?

Re: Flow text to every other page in bilingual document
Another option would be to make two totally separate documents, print them to PDF and then interleave the pages to get the desired effect. I'm not too sure about page numbers in that case. Maybe the best way to number pages in any case would be "A-1" for the first page of Languaga A, and ...

Or did you want something like this? (second attachment)
Also a CD back in case it helps (first attachment).

Re: Different cell widths within same table
In the Tables pallette section, under 'Table Cells', the first two buttons in the top row allow you to split or merge selected cells. You could set the entire column with two cells as they will be in the row where you want them, then select the two cells in each applicable row and merge them. If you...

You can set a keystroke for your desired zoom level. Preferences>Menu keys>View>Zoom> 125% (or other) then select a keystroke such as command-option-/
You can also add a button for the same menu command to the toolbar; control-click on it and choose 'Add Custom Toolbar Item'.

That is what Martin said in his announcement: 10.7 and above:

Thank you, that's useful (particularly considering there doesn't seem to be a link to it on the site).

Re: 2.0.7 is last intended release for 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
May I suggest that you could follow the example of some other software where support for an older OS has been dropped and continue to provide a download of 2.0.7 once 2.0.8 comes out? This would help current Snow Leopard users who might need to re-download, and you might still get a few sales out of...

Re: Feature requests
Thanks for the grouping info: I'd not found that (still working my way through things).
I'd tried putting a table in a text box before and failed, but I tried just now and it worked fine, so that solves that - thank you.

Feature requests
Just purchased Nisus Writer Pro and done quite a lot of work with it - pleased with the results. Converting a number of documents from Pages has thrown up a couple of things I would like you to consider adding: 1. The ability to lock drawn objects and imported images to prevent accidental moving or ...
