The word was "than" or "then" if I remember correctly.
Yep -- saw that one, too.

Someone in Apple it seems decided it would be a good idea to integrate a degree of grammar checking into the spell-check system in 10.14 … which has screwed it up.

Re: NWP 3.0 and Erroneous Spellcheck

It’s pretty much like you mentioned. Certain words in certain places seem to set it off — were at the end of a sentence (though not in the first paragraph), the word to in different forms. It seems to be more frequent on words that have homonyms or that are part of easily mistaken forms (were, we’re...

Not seeing this in other apps like mail or textedit, and the switching dictionaries trick doesn't seem to affect it.

Re: NWP 3.0 and Erroneous Spellcheck

Was this one ever figured out? I get *certain* correctly spelled words flagged as incorrect at the end of sentences. One example: > They never knew where they were. Were is flagged as incorrect. This also happens with some versions of the word to/too at the last word position. Sometimes quitting and...

Re: Theming or using Dark Mode

A theme capability would be great. It would probably allow more flexibility than only complying with light/dark mode. In the meantime, I have a sort of work around for this that I use that may help. I theme the "Full Screen" to be a very dark gray with very light gray text. I leave the page view whi...

You should also just be able to drag the image file into your document.

Have you tried Insert > Image..., then select the image from your disk?

List of Macros in 3.0

Hi,

I was reading an article that said there were new macros in 3.0, but my list looks the same. I installed from zip file, so I’m wondering if they maybe didn’t copy out on startup. Is there a list of the macros I should see in 3.0? I didn’t find one in the user guide.

Re: QuickLook plugin for .rtf files

I've been dying for a Quicklook plugin and Spotlight indexing for ZRTF. Having those two things would make using ZRTF as a default much more practical and greatly cut down on the size of files.

Re: Default Zoom % List

Hi Philip and credneb --

I hadn't thought about those options. I really like the Idea of checking the state, since then it's always just the same hotkey to get me wherever I want.

Thanks!

Re: Default Zoom % List

Thanks, Philip. I actually already have a macro set up, but depending on the View (Page, Draft, Fullscreen), the percentage that seem comfortable seems to vary. Rather than introduce a hotkey combo for each, I was hoping to just add to the list and be able to sequence through them with the CMD +/- k...

Default Zoom % List

Is there a way to add to the list of zoom settings? For example, at the bottom right corner, it has . . . 100%, 125%, 150%, 200% . . . sometimes 150% is a bit small and 200% is a bit big. No real problem to do a manual pinch zoom, but it would be nice to just hit CMD+ and get, say 175% or so, rather...
