Unlearn Spelling Bug
I believe I have encountered a spelling dictionary bug. If you accidentally tell Nisus Writer to learn a spelling, it’s impossible to unlearn it for the document in which it was learned . Within the document, select the word and use the contextual menu to unlearn it. Open any other document and type...

Re: Copy/Paste Disabled in Table
Yup. In my testing everything is OK, too.
Except on the one iMac with a fresh install of Nisus Writer Pro.
The same document saved by NWP as a .doc file works just fine in Microsoft Word on the same iMac.
It's the combination of NWP and something else that's going on.

Copy/Paste Disabled in Table
I open a document containing a 2-page table. The first time I copy the contents of any cell, the copy works. The first time I paste into any cell, the paste works. Thereafter, all the menu items for copy and for paste are grayed out. Copy and paste become impossible. Undo still works. The document f...

Ah! (No pun intended.)
I failed to combine the -ah and e modifiers.
Thanks!

Select Header Text
I can't seem to select all the text in a document Header. I can find a specific word, but wildcards don't work. These lines fail: Find All '(AnyWord)', '-i', '-ah' Find All '(AnyWord)', '-i', '-e' (AnyWord) is pasted from a regex expression in the Nisus Writer Pro Find dialog. Thanks for any suggest...

Date Format Not Obeyed
This might be a bug report. Nisus Writer Pro 3.0.2 is not obeying the date format set in System Preferences in Mojave 10.14.5. Instead of 07/04/19 it shows 7/4/19. When I choose either of these Insert > Date and Time > Custom Date and Time… Insert > Date and Time > Configure Date & Time Formats… the...

Re: NWP 3.0 and Erroneous Spellcheck
Your problem could be the language chosen for spell check.
I have a similar problem with correctly spelled words being flagged as incorrect.
I have posted the issue in another thread:
Spell Check Language Not Changeable

Spell Check Language Not Changeable
Nisus Writer Pro spell check is stuck in Portuguese. I understand that Nisus Writer’s spell check language is set in three different places: Edit > Spelling > Show Spelling & Grammar System Preferences > Language & Region System Preferences > Keyboard < Text > Spelling All of these are set to Englis...

NWP3 Default Internet Link
It's helpful that NWP3 fills in http:// when we Add Link to URL…
However, since browsers no longer display http sites, it would save time and work if it instead filled in https://
Don't you think it's time?
Thanks.

Verifying "Nisus Writer Pro"
This is an alert to those updating to the new version 2.1.6. When you first launch it, you will see this message: Verifying "Nisus Writer Pro" It takes a long time. On my Mac Pro, the verification ran for nearly 2 minutes. But it eventually finished. (This might be true only for my non-Mac App store...

New Document Defaults to Sections Palette Group
The first thing I always do in a New document is type the title of the document into the header. Therefore, I like the header content to be already selected as every New document opens. The trouble is that selecting the header content automatically leaves the Sections palette group selected. Is ther...

Re: NWP 2.1 Sandbox Breaks AppleScript
Thanks, everyone, for the help and suggestions here. They have led me to a working rewrite of my AppleScripts. And I appreciate Nisus for spending the time and effort even on these "special" cases.
