Re: Trouble with Cmd + Y from NWP to Bookends
As I said, the document scans fine. When I go to Tools, Biblio, Scan, it scans and formats the footnotes. There is no keyboard command by "Scan Document." But scanning is not the problem; the only problem is that, while I was in NWP, I could, from the footnote, hit Cmd +Y and it would jump...

Re: Trouble with Cmd + Y from NWP to Bookends
I just get a beep, no error message. I can Cmd + Tab over to BE and then Cmc +Y back to NWP, so it's not a life-changer. I was just spoiled by Cmd + Y both directions.

Re: Trouble with Cmd + Y from NWP to Bookends
The document scans fine, and there are/were no changes to my keyboard shortcuts. NWP just won't do Cmd+Y to Bookends any more.

Large document drag
Maybe I'll be ignored in this post, as I was in the last...But I have a document of around 90,000 words and I am adding footnotes to it. Not only is the character typing delayed, but I am getting numerous rotating beach ball pauses in the midst of it. Is there any way to speed this up?

Trouble with Cmd + Y from NWP to Bookends
I used to be able to use Cmd +Y to move from NWP to BE and back. For some reason, I can now only move from BE to NWP. When I hit Cmd + Y in NWP it is not responsive. Any idea what might have changed?

Re: 2 footnote fonts?
Martin, Thanks for your help. Because I'm a style neophyte, I have to go back to the beginning question. I have a document with original footnotes that need to stay with their original format. I have selected them all and made them uniform. Now, I need to be able to add new footnotes in a different ...

Re: 2 footnote fonts?
OK. I have the document, complete with its original footnotes. It was brought over from a "Save As .rtf" doc in Word. Along with it, came some styles. The style I need is included, but I do not know how to now make it the "Default" footnote style for this document. How do I go ab...

Re: 2 footnote fonts?
Thanks, Martin, that will probably work. The situation is that I have a completed book, with footnotes, which I have been asked to contribute comments, etc. by way of my own footnotes. So, for example, at the bottom of a given page will be the original footnotes that were a part of the original book...

Re: 2 footnote fonts?
Thank you. Unfortunately, I have to have 2 different fonts for all footnotes. So, the original footnotes that came with the ms. have one font, and the footnotes that I add have another font. I am assuming that is not possible to do?

2 footnote fonts?
I have a ms. that is completed, including footnotes, and now I have to add footnotes to it, but in a different font. How do I set Nisus so that I can have 2 different fonts in the footnotes? Thank you.

Page numbers with 1 column landscape view?
I often use landscape view with 1 column in order to have smaller pages when I print. I print the file, then cut the paper in half to make 2 small pages. Is it possible to have Nisus put a page number on/in each of the columns, say, in the top right corner? So, for example, the first page, since it ...

Bookends/Nisus 2
I have a doc in Nisus that I have written using Bookends for footnotes. Can someone tell me if the bug between these two has been resolved? If not, I'll need to get the doc over into Mellel before I scan/unscan. Thank you.
