Re: Arabic -- Parentheses/brackets --- Quotation-marks/inverted commas --- Deletinig

Keyboard Viewer will only show you the layout of the active keyboard. To view Arabic keyboard layout, you have to make the Arabic keyboard active from the input source in the menubar. If Arabic does not appear in the inpt source, you have to add it from System Preferences>Keyboard>Input Sources: Inp...

Re: catalina and Nisus Pro

It is interesting to note that when I export your Nisus file as Word binary, and then open the converted file in Nisus, the PICT images were converted to PNG. It seems that the LibreOffice exporter used in Nisus handles the conversion of PICT images to PNG. Of the 36 images of the original file, the...

Re: 2nd-level TOC entries as a single paragraph

[...] Considering this problem: I was first wondering if one could mix TOC styles, e.g., have one style for Level 1 and another for Level 2, so that only Level 1 would get leaders and page numbers. This does not seem to be possible either. I have often wondered who actually needs more than one TOC ...

Re: 2nd-level TOC entries as a single paragraph

Assuming there are only two levels of TOC entries in the document, the second-level TOC entries which are to appear in TOC as single paragraphs under their respective first-level entries will have "Do not include" applied in the Style Sheet. When no more first-level entries remain to be ad...

Re: Quick find of any tables in a file?

NisusUser wrote: 2020-03-05 04:15:56 Is there a quick way to just open a file in NWP and run some macro to see if there is a table in it? [...]
You can use the menu command Table:Select:Select Next Table
or run it as a macro.

Apparently, how to delete old versions is not mentioned in the User's Guide.

The menubar is hidden; it appears when you move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen.

Re: Unusual behavior of footnotes in a section

This is not a bug; it is a limitation of NWP. Any main text of a following section appears only after the footnotes of the previous section.

A word list in “tab delimited” form should also work.

Re: PDF Page Numbering Retention

Hello Revue Guru, The workflow you describe puts an unnecessary burden upon you for indexing. If you send a final version of your Nisus RTF file with index topics already marked, you can avoid all the trouble. When the publishers import your RTF file to Word to create a PDF, your index markings will...

This affects other languages as well, except Portuguese.
The localisation folders (.lproj) for the other languages are missing in the application's Resources folder.
