This way to handle this is to create "/Library/Application Support/Nisus Writer/", to put the Macros folder in there, and to put an alias from that Macros folder into "~/Library/Application Support/Nisus Writer/". However, although that works, it shows up yet another bug in NWX: ...

I recently tried exporting simple graphics into Windows from NWX, Mellel, AppleWorks and Windows itself (via RTF). The only standard format Windows seems able to display competently is TIFF. All other formats it ignored or bastardized.

There is nothing grudging about this, it is sheer admiration, and WordNet does supply a suitable definition of 'envy'. However, it does not provide such a definition of 'envious'. One reason I mistrust WordNet is that I can find no discussion of its lexicological principles and methodology. Every se...

For definitions, OmniDictionary searches more dictionaries, including a later edition of WordNet. However, I am dubious about the quality of WordNet's database. I might say, precisely and accurately, that I am jealous of my wife and envious of yours, but no one looking up the terms in WordNet would ...

It's not a direct answer but it might be worth asking: Have you tried using Create <www.stone.com> instead of Quark?

From Princeton's site: "WordNet 2.0 includes more than 42,000 new links between nouns and verbs that are morphologically related, a topical organization for many areas that classifies synsets by category, region, or usage, gloss and synset fixes, and new terminology, mostly in the terrorism dom...

Icon problem

The paragraph palette has three icons to denote spacing. If there is any difference between the second and third icon, I cannot detect it on my screen. (NB: "Before" and "After" would be clearer than any icon for those two controls.)

Devon Technologies' word services crash NWX for me. Also, the Cocoa service TextLightning doesn't work in NWX.
