Re: InfoClick to index achieves
Instead of removing your old mail from Apple Mail, you might consider moving it to one or more "On My Mac" mailboxes in Apple Mail. That will prevent it from slowing down your IMAP account, but it will continue to be indexed by Apple Mail and InfoClick. I do not think there is any downside...

Re: Deleting emails
You can double-click an email in the hit list, which opens it in Apple Mail, then delete it there using the command-delete shortcut.

Re: Macro request: the last day of the year 2017
Martin uploaded just such a macro a few years ago, but I can’t seem to find it anymore.

Re: Line numbers and tables.
@Vanceone:
Do you need line numbers for the blank lines, too, as in California?
If so, see the User Guide topic Number lines for legal documents (“Pleading Pages” or “Pleading Paper”), beginning on page 288.

Compare Documents macro: suggestion to preload Find dialog
I have a suggestion for improving the excellent Compare Documents macro that's preinstalled with NWP (originally written by Kino). Append the following two steps to the macro: Find ' (AnyText) (Or) (AnyText) ', 'euW!' Menu 'Find:Show Find…' This opens a Find dialog pre-loaded with criteria to find a...

Re: Error during imprt / rebuilding database
In OS X 10.12 (Sierra), the mail folder is ~/Library/Mail/V4/. V2 is from a much older version of OS X. Also, you should select the V4 folder itself, not the MailData folder inside the V4 folder. The mailboxes with your messages are in the top level of V4, not the MailData folder. MailData contains ...

Re: LibreOfficeImporter hanging
Unchecking "Load file Importers in the background after Nisus Writer Starts", seems to resolve the issue; then LibreOfficeImporter CPU is 0.0% after wake up. Thanks, Hamid. That sounds like a great solution for users who seldom open documents in other formats. However, if you open a docum...

Re: LibreOfficeImporter hanging
Do either of you use Default Folder? The last time I experienced LibreOfficeImporter using 100% CPU, Activity Monitor said Default Folder X Agent was "not responding". Another clue is that I always seem to be using Safari when LibreOfficeImporter uses 100% CPU, but this may be a coincidenc...

Anchor symbol and Graphics in imported document
I want to convert to Nisus’ native format a document containing graphics that is either an RTF document exported by Acrobat or a Word DOC document. When I use the NWP import converter to open such a document, the Nisus document often displays several Anchor symbols in both Draft and Page view modes....

Re: Word DOC import: List Styles
Thanks for correcting me, Philip! I inferred that Word cannot create named list styles based on: 1. My copy of Word 2008 for Mac. 2. Word documents I receive from a colleague in Taiwan using some version of Word for Windows. Of course, his failure to use list styles does not mean it isn't possible!

Word DOC import: List Styles
Can a macro rename a list style? If so, I think a macro could improve the process of importing MS Word documents that include list formatting. It appears to me that MS Word has named paragraph styles but does not have named list styles. In Word, paragraph styles include list formatting. In Nisus, Pa...
