Smart quote problem in Comments, but not in main NWP window

I recently noticed that when I type in comments in NWP 3.3, the opening quotation mark does not convert to a proper (for English) smart quote. Rather it goes the other way and is a closing quotation mark. However, when I type in the main NWP window, smart quotes work properly. Any ideas what I could...

Re: Can We Restore Old Title Bar?

Good idea. I voted for the old title bar. I see that when I voted I was in the majority of about 83%. I always wonder if I could possibly be right if I'm in the majority, though … :)

Re: finding invisible hyperlinks

I just wanted to say that Martin and Philip do a wonderful job of helping people out with Nisus Writer [Pro]. Thank you! And thanks to the many others who often help, too. I follow the forums quite a lot, and am amazed at the stuff folks come up with to help each other use Nisus Writer well. This th...

Adrian,

Thank you! That worked, and I'm a happy camper! I didn't think to try that.

Can't Print Comments (3.2.2 on Mojave)

Hi, I've followed the instructions on pp. 513ff on the PDF Help File, but I cannot get Comments to print. The main text is shrunken down so they would fit, and in fact I see the comments themselves in the margin in the Mac Print Dialog. But when I print, they are not there. OS 10.14.6 running NWP 3....

Thank you, Martin.

Find return characters in footnotes and replace with pilcrow

Hi, once again, I need a way to find all returns in footnotes and replace them with pilcrows. What I want to do is make it so all the text in every footnote is only one paragraph (so it can be easily converted to plain text). The pilcrows will mark where the return characters were (so they can be re...

Thank you, Hamid! Just what I was looking for. I assigned a Menu Key to it and am good to go!

Quick find of any tables in a file?

Hi, everybody Is there a quick way to just open a file in NWP and run some macro to see if there is a table in it? I've got some large files that I want to look for tables in, but I don't want to scroll through them. I need to find the tables and convert them to text and then make sure the text is f...

Add a color from the color palette to menu item?

Is there a way to add a color from the color palette (say, "Tangerine") to the menu, so that I can assign a Menu Key to it? I'd like more / different colors from the ones available by default. From the Format > Highlight > Show Highlight Colors menu item I can get to "Tangerine,"...

Re: Remove all previous versions, so a file cannot be reverted?

I've found that the revert function does some weird things, probably because I do so and don't really understand how the old versions are kept or I just don't pay attention. I haven't really tried to nail it down precisely, but I often start with an old file with old, but similar text to what I want...
