Way to shade in gray every other paragraph

Hi, everybody,

Is there a macro somewhere that would work on a selection such that every other paragraph would be shaded (at this point gray would be fine)?

It's a list in rather small print, and I need some way to keep my eyes on the correct line.

Thanks!

Re: Way to sort a list?

Thank you, Philip! I thought it was in there somewhere, but when I looked down the lists of menu items, I didn't see sort, so I decided it must have been a macro. Now I see that it is here: Edit > Transform Paragraphs > Sort …

I appreciate it!

Re: Scientific Macro

Hi, Patrick G, I tried your macro. Thank you! Here's what I got: Scientific Notation Sample.png Because of your background teaching chemistry, I'll ask you (or others who may know): Do you know of a way in Nisus Writer Pro to do fractions such that the numerator is above a line and the demoninator b...

Way to sort a list?

Hi, everybody.

Seems like there was a macro or some way to sort a list. Is that so?

I want to sort a selection in this file (I'd select the first part and sort it first, then the last few at the end of the 2nd column).

Thanks!

Re: Watermark settings won't stick: v. 3.3

Thank you, Philip. I haven't had time to come back to this yet, but when I do, I'll let you know what I found. The way you described things does not sound exactly like what I was seeing, so I'll check. Also, a new re-start of the app might help re-set something. I could not get the watermark to be o...

Watermark settings won't stick: v. 3.3

Hello, Martin & others, If I put a watermark in a document (Tools > Watermark; I'm using "Watermark with Text") and tell it to apply to anything other than "Entire document," NWP does not obey :) Once I leave the dialog and come back, it has reverted to "Entire document&...

Philip and Martin,

You guys are so helpful! Just seeing how you provide complex macros to help someone makes me smile. I'm thankful also for all the times you've both done things like that for me.

Re: Macro to insert inputted string before digit(s):digit(s)

G'day, NisusUser et al There is a big problem here, in that the second verse reference in your example (viz, "10:15") is not preceded by either a paragraph return or a soft return, and yet it seems from the transformed text you cite that you still wanted it preceded by your chosen text st...
