It seems it would be reasonable to hope that 2.0 would open those files - would work for me, but it also seems it would be a different kind of program that would do batch changes....
Just opening when need would be enough, if only because system 9 might be obsolete

so far
I seem to be the only one in the running, from the original predictions.
Ido wonder about why I picked a friday, I am not sure I would release software on a friday so users could have the weekend to be frustrated.
but I still plan on winning nothing

blow out the candles
In Sweden the summer ends on dawn of September 23, not 21. It's called "autumnal equinox". How do I know? Because that's on my birthday. :D I really hope that NWE 2.0 will be released way before that date… :? but if it isn't, what a birthday party it will be http://www.acsu.buffalo.edu/~g...

summer
Hi: We are still testing 2.0 so no release date has been set yet. Remember that "Summer" lasts until August. Not that we will release that late; we will release as soon as it is ready! -Charles dude, I am from Saranac Lake, NY where we say summer is two bad days of sledding in August! I'm...

however
However, with RTF, it is hard to imbed images with any kind of formating. and - who IS incharge of the ignorant - some people, if you send them a RTF will know know what to do with it... but I totally agree, even if I am going to do something in a word file for a class, I create it in NWE, the best....

ediiting web pages
I am having a bit of trouble editing web pages. Because the files have an html ending Nisus EX opens them as html files and not text files, as I save them. I can do a 'Save As' to make them a text, but occasionally I am not allowed and must save the file as a .txt file. Is there a way around this, t...

love it
That fact that the Nisus Theasaurus works in all my programs (so far) I love it, I think they should actually charge for the theasurus and give you the word processor... I like the dictionary aspects of it, though it would be nice when you spell a word work, that there is a better list of word...

I am sorry, but a great idea has gone terribly wrong the time ran out on the nisus thesurus, ALL let me say that again, ALL other word processors have a theaurus, but NISUS offers you a free one that the time runs out on. forget that they had a great word processor that they just made a MS Word clon...
