I am helping a client who is using Nisus Writer 6.5 on Panther (Classic environment). When Nisus Writer is launched, three alerts are displayed that state that a file could not be opened do to access restrictions and that the file will be opened read-only. Click on the OK button and things seem to be fine.
I believe that the dialog is caused by the fact that Nisus Writer was installed while logged in as "user1". The alerts appear when using NisusWriter as "user2" (I will try to verify whether these alerts occur when logged in as "user1").
The questions: How can I find out what files are being opened? Should I just reinstall Nisus Writer as "user2"?
Thanks for any help in advance.

Phil,
Nisus Writer Classic (6.5 and earlier) does not "know from Users".
Reinstall additional copies for the different users. Since only one user can *use* the computer and Nisus Writer Classic at any time, this does not run counter to the license agreement.
I hope this helps.
