Footnotes disappear in word format

Hi everyone

I have a compatibility problem when need to export a work in MS word format. The problem is that all footnotes disappear. Just to verify, I exported a document in word format and opened it with Pages 08, still there was no foot notes.

Is there a way to solve this problem ?

When you export a NWP file as doc, it is still just an rtf file with doc extension. If the NWP document is opened in Word, footnotes will appear all right in Word. Pages does not import footnotes from rtf files, so footnotes from NWP files, whether saved as doc or rtf, will not appear in Pages.
