Determine which and how many Palette Group icons appear at the top of the Dock
Nisus Writer Express is shipped so that all seven of its palette groups icons appear at the top of the Palette Dock. If you rarely use one or more of them, you can demote them so that they show in an overflow menu.
1. Choose the menu command: View > Palettes > Customize Palette Dock….
The Customize Palettes window opens.
2. In the Palette Groups pane on the left, select the name(s) of the palette group(s) you wish to demote.
3. On the right side of the window, click the Show group in overflow menu radio button.
☞ You can easily reverse the process.

2. In the Palette Groups pane on the left, select the name(s) of the palette group(s) you wish to promote.
3. On the right side of the window, click the Show group as top level icon radio button.
