Re: Facelift?
I agree that a refresh of the UI would be nice. I have previously aired some frustration with the drawer and full screen mode, though not everyone shares that (and Michael Tsai of SpamSieve fame recently tweeted about functionality issues with Omni's move away from the drawer in Outliner 4). I'd als...

Re: When will we get a major upgrade of NWP?
But updating the UI, "who uses drawers anymore?" ... I really couldn't care less about that. For me NWP's drawer with its tabs and the ability to have more than one palette under each tab suits me fine; all that matters is that I know where to find the things that I need, not whether the ...

Re: When will we get a major upgrade of NWP?
Hi Paolo, that is possible, but not an ideal solution, since the palettes then float over part of the full screen and tend to cover part of my text window. I'd still prefer a modern panel-type approach as e.g. Scrivener adopts. I sometimes would like to see an alternative to apples Numbers, now that...

Re: When will we get a major upgrade of NWP?
It also feels like the UI could use some streamlining. Maybe it is time to replace the good old palette drawer with a palette panel that will look more in place in fullscreen mode. Wonder also if the comments system could use some visual updating. And, I know I repeat my self, but split document vie...

Trackpad zoom
Is it possible to turn off the two-finger-zoom gesture on the trackpad just for NWP? I currently happen to zoom a lot when I really want to scroll.

Re: Papers Intergration?
I know this maybe asking for too much, but there also is Sente which could use better integration. Papers, Bookends, and Sente are the three premier Mac only reference managers, and it would be nice to get some integration for all of these.

Re: NWP 2, panes, and views
The new behavior does make sense, but the old did too. Would adding an option for that to the preferences be feasible?

NWP 2, panes, and views
Hi there, wonder if I suffer from slightly idealized memories, but didn't NWP 1.4 remember what panes were open in what view? I think I used to have the comments open in draft view, and the navigator in page view. With NWP 2 that feature seems to be gone. Now, when I switch views, the panes that wer...

Show invisibles and comments
Hi! I wonder if an option to show invisible characters in the text only rather than also in comments might be a useful addition. While I like to see the invisibles in the text while composing manuscripts, I really don't need them in my comments. In fact, I find them rather distracting there. Cheers,...

Automatic numbering in lists
Hi, I am currently working on a document where I use a list style with automatic numbers. So far so good, but whenever I close the document and reopen it, the numbering is broken. Every number is 1. I have then to remove the newline at the end of the paragraph, then hit return again to reinstate con...

What?! No vertical ruler?
Seriously, I have now come across several occasions myself where that would have helped. And it certainly wouldn't hurt, or would it?
Otherwise great realease. Am particularly excited about the option to save styles in the document manager.

I hadn't been to the RagTime site for several years. Yes, I see what you mean. Click on the Union Jack and get ... German. Very professional. Sure you were to the correct site? http://www.ragtime.de/start.html?lang_id=en Just checked, I get English there. However, the company developing and selling...
