Re: Drag and drop gone

I ran etrecheck (www.etrecheck.com), found some old daemons to get rid of, reboot, and we seem to be ok now.

Re: Drag and drop gone

Re: Drag and drop gone

My experience is that I need to wait three seconds for Drag & Drop to work in NWP. Works instantaneously in other apps

Re: Very disappointing news

[quote="tnagpal"] (snip!) 1. Styles 2. Basic automatic outlining 3. Footnotes 4. Simple tables To really step up to the plate I would love to see far more innovative features: 1. How about OpenType automatic ligatures a la InDesign. This is a feature that has never been really implemented in a word ...

Responsiveness

I wonder abt others' experience w/ NWX, & general responsiveness. One of the best (and there were millions) things abt Nisus Writer was its leaness. The pgm is still small, compared to other choices, but I find that using NWX on my 500mhz ibook w/ 320mb ram is so painfully slow that I cannot use it....

Okay, then.

I assume that ~/Library/ refers to the library that lives in the same directory as my home directory?

[quote="rmark"]Nisus Writer Express does not support glossaries. The glossaries you have from Nisus Writer Classic will not work. Neither will your old Nisus Writer Classic macros. For safe-keeping, for the possiblity that a future version of Nisus Writer Express will be able to read and use your Cl...
