Philip.
Oddly enough I often can’t open nisus.com page and so I only now, after many days, could see how you fixed the macro. I have tried it already and up to now It does work just as I wanted. Many thanks again and happy new year (though late).

Re: Anchors and anchored text
Philip,
as usually you you are the first one.
The macro does work well, except it doesn't find and delete a void anchor.
Many thanks.

Anchors and anchored text
Trying to convert - with OCR - pdf files (especially pdf files of old prints) to text files, I get — besides text — a lot of anchors with anchored text inside. There is no way to delete all these anchors with Nisus (or at least I didn’t find any up to now). But in all cases I would better need a mac...

Space before footnote references
Hi all Suppose I have a text with footnotes and obviously footnote references — which are usually superscripted numbers — but running certain macros I get a space preceding these numbers, which I don’t want. Is there any wild card or macro or Find Pro expression to delete this space that precedes th...

Re: How to prevent text to be modified
Philip and Adrian, Thanks for your combined useful solution. I will try both the macros, until the desired command will be implemented in our application to block/unblock a selected text, and so to prevent inadvertent alteration (for instance with Find/Replace), and nevertheless t maintain the text ...

Re: How to prevent text to be modified
Hi Adrian, Your explanation is very clear and easy to be understood also by me. I followed your instructions, and — indeed — your method works well. Using keyboard shortcuts it goes also quickly. Maybe some attention is recommended while using Find & Replace: never forget to set “in Selection”. Also...

Re: How to prevent text to be modified
Adrian, thanks for your long and detailed answer, but I must admit that my English is not good enough to easily understand your long explanation. Matter is also a bit complicated. Therefore I will take time to better understand everything and to try some attempts according to your suggestions. Howev...

Re: How to prevent text to be modified
Hi, Adrian My intent is indeed to prevent inadvertent alteration of a certain text block. Suppose I have a very long text, two or three books in the size, which I must keep together in one file only. Suppose I have to make multiple changes in the file, but not in that certain text block, which I hav...

Re: How to prevent text to be modified
Adrian, Thanks for the answer. This is however a bit intricate for to my modest skills. The best solution would be perhaps a hint to Martin, to create a new command in the next release like “Prevent Modifying Text In Selection”, similar to Prevent Check Spelling in Selection. lellius Nisus user sinc...

NW Pro 3.0 - Language
Hello Martin,
i tried NWP 3 , but i do miss any language localization, but English and Portuguese.
Any chance to have other localizations in the next future?

Re: A “Convert Text to Notes.nwm” macro?
Philip, I tried your last “creature” and it works. Not the double brackets as delimiters are decisive, I think, but your change starting from line 5 (if Find All in Selection etc.). Anyway the macro now works, and maintains not only reference number, but also italic, bold and small caps as well. Man...

Re: A “Convert Text to Notes.nwm” macro?
Philip, please your macro “Convert Text to Notes.nwm” doesn't work properly (I have Nisus 2.1.10 and macOS Mojave). I tried both, preserving and removing the 'In Selection' requirement and changing the delimiters — i prefer [[ ]] as delimiters. But nothing happened. The reverse macro “Convert Notes ...

Nisus still crashes pasting from Chrome, Firefox, etc
Pasting a page from Google Chrome or from Firefox into a Nisus page doesn't loose text attributes, simple because Nisus always crashes.
This doesn't happen pasting from Safari.
It is rather annoying since Safari is by far the worst browser for Mac, surely the lowest one.
Any reason?
Thanks
