Re: Yellow comment-bubbles invisible in Word

In response to your email-message, I have updated my Nisus Writer Pro, but this has made no difference. My correspondent is using MS Word 16.42. I shall not expect you to spend any more time on this, though I hope that, if and when I find how to get rid of this difficulty I may continue the thread. ...

Re: Yellow comment-bubbles invisible in Word

Thank you for coming to my help. My correspondent is using MS Word 16. I at first sent my commented file to her in the '.doc' format. She could not see my comments. I have just now sent it in the '.rtf' format,' and she tried to open it using MS Word. She gets "MS Word experienced an error, etc." I h...

Yellow comment-bubbles invisible in Word

I am as usual doing some editing for writers that use Word, poor souls. I use the excellent "Comment"-feature in Nisus Writer Pro to do this. Some Word-users however, seem unable to see the yellow speech-bubbles. Why would that be ?

Page-numbering

I apologise for asking such a beginnerish question, but how do I insert page-numbering into an existing document in the RTF-format ?

Re: 'Sum column'

Is it possible to Sum Column in NWPro so that the total appears at the top of the column, instead of at the foot ? Alternatively, how could I write a macro for this ?

Re: Opening files with the extension:'docx'

My thanks to you both Credneb, I always use the approach that you advise, but in this instance without success. However, I yesterday asked my correspondent to send me a copy of the file reformatted in RTF, and NWP opened the result instantly.

Opening files with the extension:'docx'

I am working on such a file now. I can open it with TextEdit, but not with NWP. I have seen the suggestion of using LibreOffice to open the file, then closing it, and reopening it with NWP, but I long ago uninstalled LO to make space on this tiny, crowded drive, and hope not to have to reinstall it. ...

Re: Copy-and-paste table-rows

Thank you, but I have got 3 columns -- A,B and C. I have proceeded as follows: 1. Click insertion=point in 10A. 2. Holding down Shift, click insertion-point in 19C. 3. Click Table, Select, Rows. 4. Click Edit, Copy 5. Click insertion=point in 1A. 6. Click Edit, Paste. This does not work for me. What...

Copy-and-paste table-rows

I have got a table of say 50 rows. I want to copy Rows 10-19 and paste them to the top of the table, so that they become Rows 1-10. How do I do that, please ?

Table with a gap between rows

The attachment shows part of a table that I sent in the RTF-format to a correspondent She made corrections to some of the text -- though not to the table itself -- and sent it back to me, still in the RTF-format. When it went from me, there were no gaps between the rows. When, without downloading th...
