Re: Finding document content in the Document Manager
Created a template file named "meintemplate.dot", saved it on desktop, in a folder named "temp". Searched keywords from that file via Spotlight, Alfred, and Houdahspot, without success. To compare, I created a template file in MS Word (a classic old ".dot" template file...

Wow, super helpful tips! Thank you very much for taking the time!
Meanwhile I have been using KeyboardMaestro to accomplish what I want, but I'll review your tips thoroughly when I am in front of my computer later.

Change default style of table edges?
I like my tables to have edges in hairline. The default with 1 point thickness is too thick for my taste.
Is there a way to set "hairline" as default for new tables? Or save this as a style and re-apply it to new tables?

Save shape styles?
Whenever I insert an image into my document, I would like it to have a "frame" or a shape stroke (hairline).
Is there a way to appl this to an image and save these settings as a style element? Or a macro that'd allow me to apply the shape stroke to inserted images?

Re: Setting Nisus as default app for RTF and RTFD
The good news is that you can bypass this problem if you change your Finder preferences to always open all RTF files in Nisus Writer, which sounds like is what you want anyways. The trick is to use the "Change All" button in the "open with" settings. That process is described in...

Setting Nisus as default app for RTF and RTFD
Hey all, just purchased Nisus Writer Pro because I love how it is so much better than TextEdit and much cleaner than MS Word. Kudos to the devs. I am trying to set Nisus as the default app for opening / editing RTF and RTFD files: Opened Finder app, right clicked on an RTF or RTFD file, went to the ...
