Re: decimal tab problem, chosing character with which to align.
Not quite on this topic, but Leopard and PinPoint's Fullscreen Crosshairs is most useful for lining-up rows and/or columns, especially where text or tables require scrolling from one view to another. I find PinPoint's crosshairs are particularly useful in aligning text columns with their responsible...

Probably not. LinkBack is not intended as a way for applications to exchange database style information in the tradition of record producers/consumers. Also, NWP's support is limited to hosting images with attached LinkBack data, eg: a diagram produced in a modeling program. In what capacity did yo...

Re: Image degrades when saved as a template
Can you not use PDF ... that scales ...? Not really. After trying a couple of applications such as Grab and SnapZ Pro, using the latter to make a TIFF file with Graphic Converter to scale between 50% and 90% was as automatic as I needed. This also gave the best result after printing the NWP file vi...

NWP, Linkback and Bento
Fine; I will need to brush-up on LinkBack then and see if Bento and NWP can be used together.I'm not sure there is any news to be had, as NWP already has LinkBack support. Do you have any questions about NWP or any feature requests for LinkBack?

NWP, Linkback and Bento
Yep, three in one. Having bought Bento as a very good replacement for the aged AppleWorks DB, and not really wishing to go further into FileMaker Pro, watching a couple of demonstrations brought back faint memories of LinkBack. Bento does display similar abilities so I wonder what is the latest news...

Image degrades when saved as a template
David sent his file to us privately and we've determined this is a bug with our handling of TIFF images. We plan on fixing the problem in time for the next update. In the meantime the problem can be worked around by converting the image to another format (eg: JPEG, PICT, etc) before it is inserted ...

Page numbers in Status Bar
Until yesterday, I had never seen a 'discrepancy' between the page numbers in the Status Bar and the Inserted Page Number/Pages in Document. Now, in a 10/10 size, I get Page 10 of 12 in the Status Bar. I admit that the document consists almost entirely of screen shots with either 1 or 2 Columns. It'...

Page numbering within PDF documents
I don't think this problem of the Nisus Manual in PDF format having conflicting page numbers is the fault of the Nisus version.
I've had it with almost all similar documents.
What you see is NOT what you get.

Re: Is there any faster way to download alpha?
I'm trying to download the latest alpha (7). However, just like the previous, the download speed is so slow, usually less than 1K per second. (my download speed from other sites are usually 30 - 150K per second). So, I wonder if there is any faster way to do this. :?: ---- Using Speed Download 3.0....

Favourable at the least. I received a message that the beta was available through Composer site, but there was something wrong; the .sit file eventually gave the download as 9.7 MB of 3.8 MB which is about the size of the unstuffed application. The .gz file did not download. Then going to the messag...
