Re: How to cut first paragraph of a document in AppleScript
Philip, thank you for the help. I need to do this in AppleScript as it is part of a process of getting something into another program. I had this working many years ago for an old Nisus Writer but it needed revision. As I don't use AppleScript much I need to relearn some things. I guess I don't unde...

Re: Quit a find and replace
Adrian, thanks for the reply. The Find All that I was doing at the time was fairly complex. It was not a macro. I tried Cmd period and Cmd S but I did not try Esc. I have had this happen a few times now over the years. Eventually I have to ForceQuit but one loses anything not saved. May be I have to...

Quit a find and replace
Hi folks,
Is there any way to quit a find once it is in progress? I know that Cmd full stop and Cmd S don't work.
Cheers.

Finding say, Greek text, in a Unicode font.
I have a document incorporating English and Greek all written in the same unicode font. Can any one tell me if it is possible in NWP to do a Find of only the Greek text in my document?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Interleaving paragraphs in a document
Hi Martin, Thanks so much for the macro. It works brilliantly. I can't even pretend to understand the bits to the macro. My Applescript in Pages was much much shorter but works at 1000 times slower than your macro. Your macro works almost instantaneously. I appreciate the time you have spent on this...

Re: Changing text size by the Size:Increase By menu option
Philip, I tried your method presumably using the code as follows: Macro: NameOfMacro Macro: NameOfMacro etc. but still wouldn't work. Is it important that the word Macro be followed by the "_" symbol exactly as you had it and/or is there a need for the colon symbol after the word Macro as ...

Re: Changing text size by the Size:Increase By menu option
Kino, Does Nisus listen to what is said on this forum or do we have to take such ideas as you expressed directly to them? Seems to me the guides etc are still being developed. Would be nice too if they wrote the basics for ordinary people i.e. non-programmers. While I have you, how do I link a numbe...

Thanks Kino. I'll give it a go.
Why is it, that this is not mentioned in the Macro Reference or the NisusWriter Pro User Guide?
Cheers,
Paul

Changing text size by the Size:Increase By menu option
Very quickly. How do I write a Macro which selects all text and increases the text size by, say 7pts.
I have tried the following but it does not work.
Select All
Size:Increase by: 7pts
Look forward to the help.
Cheers,
Paul
