Re: Show extensions for hyperlinked files?
I did try that, Roger, thanks, but I wanted to streamline the process. The results file name is specified in the command file. Ultimately I solved the problem by tweaking the BBEdit clipping that inserts the file name into the command file: I added an asterisk to the base name. It's an obvious solut...

Re: Show extensions for hyperlinked files?
I apologize for not making myself clearer. My use case is somewhat unorthodox. I don't add hyperlinks to text snippets; I just have links which are the file names. In detail: I keep statistical research logs in NWP tables. There are separate columns for the name of the command file, the dataset name...

Show extensions for hyperlinked files?
I often insert hyperlinks to external files. My preferred method is to copy from the finder and paste into the NWP document (cmd-c, cmd-v), but no matter how I do it the link shows only the file name. Is there a way to show the extension as well?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Equation Editor
Knowing LaTeX makes a solution simpler: NWP is LinkBack-enabled and LinkBack supports LaTexIt and LyX. See: http://www.linkbackproject.org/.

Re: Tables: Change column size without changing table size?
Dragging's not the way to do this. Open the Tool Drawer (shift -cmd-d) and click the Table group selection button (on top, third from the left ). On top right of the "Table Cells" palette are two square buttons marked with two-way horizontal arrows. The button with an "a" between...

Re: Launchbar Users here with the same problem?
OS X 10.8.5, NWP 2.0.7, LB 5.6.2
Works for me, whether with a modifier key in LB, my usual use, or without one, provided I set the key repeat delay in the System Keyboard Preferences Pane to "short", as suggested in the LB help.

Re: Default zoom setting for newly converted files?
Actually, my suggestion will work only when creating new files. And, editing the plist is unnecessary. Open a new file from the file menu; change the zoom settings for each view in the View Menu; save the changed file as a template file. If you name it "Nisus New File.dot" and put it in NW...

Re: Default zoom setting for newly converted files?
Open the file com.nisus.NisusWriter.plist, which will be in your home preferences folder. Make a copy first just in case you mess up. The file should open by default in Xcode. Search for "zoom". There will be an entry for each view: Draft, Page, Full Screen. An example is 2:com.nisus.Write...

Re: Efficiency/Workflow: Make Tracked Changes' text selectab
I agree, but you can get partway there: In OS X 10.7.5, you can copy a change from the Changes Pane with a double tap, or the mouse-equivalent. You have to copy everything, so keep an empty document handy as a scratch pad.

I didn't check earlier versions of of NWP 2, but this problem is definitely fixed in version 2.05.
Thanks!

Copy & Paste Attributes Problem
The first paragraph of the attached document is Times 13, the second is Arial 13. Copy and paste of attributes from the first paragraph to the second does not change the font to Times. But copy and paste attributes from the second to first does change the font.

Re: How to script Table Delete Rows?
Thanks, Martin! The solution seemed familiar, and it was, once: http://www.nisus.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2284&p=9722#p9722 . I also see the example on page 402 of the manual. The initial colon doesn't appear to be necessary. I appreciate NWP tables more than ever now. They are perfect...

How to script Table Delete Rows?
I'm on OS X 10.6.8. NWP 2.04 I've written several Apple scripts to manipulate tables, so that I can call them by name with LaunchBar. I'm stumped on how to delete selected rows in a table. In the manual, P. 418, are the examples: Do Menu Macro with macro "FormatFontTimes" Do Menu Macro wit...
