Re: Glitch in the Forum software

I've seen attachment image problems firsthand myself, and it's definitely annoying. Unfortunately there's not much we can do about these issues until the makers of our forum software package (phpBB) releases an update that fixes the bugs. We're using the latest version of phpBB. Sorry for the nuisan...

Why can't I choose the Apple Mail email folder?

When configuring InfoClick to search standard Apple Mail locations, it may be tricky to choose the correct folder. The problem is that Apple Mail folders are in somewhat difficult to access locations. The following steps will guide you on how to add the required folder(s). 1. Open your InfoClick pre...

Re: Windows shows virus in document

There are a few possibilities: 1. This is a false positive, ie: the document is clean but was mistakenly identified as infected. 2. The Mac where you created the file is infected. 3. The file was somehow infected as it traveled through whatever cloud services you're using. 4. The file was downloaded...

Smilies apparently broke when we updated the forum version some time ago. I'm sorry for the nuisance, but they're back in action now.

Thanks for the link Vance. I subscribed to this topic earlier and received an email notification of your reply, so that appears to already be functional, without any additional changes.

Re: Forum issue: Macro attachments?

Thanks for the heads up on these issues and sorry for the nuisance. Some things were definitely broken by somewhat recent forum version updates. You should now again be able to attach macros and ZRTF files. Smilies should also be functional 8) I'm not sure about using email to post replies to forum ...

Re: Next update scheduled?

We received crash logs from some Nisus Writer users trying the Mojave betas. The bug appears to be an issue with Mojave. It seems to occur any time Nisus Writer loads a document window of any kind, including at launch to reopen prior documents or create a new blank document. The underlying bug seems...

Re: Batch modify rtf properties

It should be possible to accomplish your task directly in Nisus Writer using a macro. Here's an example macro that's quite straightforward. It will ask you to choose one or more files (in a standard file dialog) and then set the author and keywords to some fixed pre-determined values. $filePaths = C...

Re: How to move Style library, glossaries, macro file direct

Thankyou, but when I define in Doc Manager that the subdirectory "Nisus" should be used, and have files moved, it moves EVERYTHING there which had been on the top directory level before! I want wo move only the specific Nisus directories and keep the rest where it had been. You'll have to tease thi...

Re: Remove styles

Those menus should work correctly. But to be clear, they only remove proper styles defined in the stylesheet like "Emphatic" or "Heading 1". Those commands do not remove manually applied formatting (eg: formatting applied via menus like Format > Font ). Please let me know if you think the commands a...

Re: styles

Hello Yohanan, I'm sorry you're having trouble with fonts and styles. It sounds like you're having a general sort of problem, which we might solve by increasing your understanding, though it's always possible there's some technical problem at work too. First, it's important to make clear that the us...

Re: 2.1.8 in-app update

Hello jb! I'm sorry for the trouble you encountered in trying to update to version 2.1.8. I'm glad you got it working. The problem was actually due to a defect in version 2.1.5, where the automatic updater could fail to install newer versions. A lot of users had trouble when we first released versio...
