Thanks so much. Does this mean, if I insert List / Outline, I must make all the levels TOC items in order to collapse and expand them? Is it not possible to do that directly on the List / Outline levels and items? Yours, SBC

working with outlines

NWP 3.0. User since 1993.
Trying out outline feature for the first time. Is it possible to collapse (and re-expand) subordinate elements within an outline unit? Relatedly, am I able to move an entire unit (principal element + subordinate elements) just by moving the principal?

Yes, this problem has been fixed in 1.2. In fact, the difference between 1.2 and 1.1 is really significant more broadly.

In NWP 1.1b there had been a bug that opening old NWP docs bolded footnotes, endotes and footers (e.g., page numbers). I have recently downloaded 1.1 and the problem is still there. Even after going through the document and unbolding everything, saving and closing, reopening comes up with the bolded...
