I think the word you are looking for is a "hanging" indent. This is intended to help you with doing lists and such.

You can try using the "Block Quote" paragraph style for your needs. Click on the little blue P square at the bottom of the window.

Re: Linkback question

Dear ceffe: LinkBack actually embeds a COPY of your graphic in the Nisus Writer Express document. So it is no longer linked with the original OmniGraffle document. I know that sometimes it is better to link to a file than keep a copy and we are looking at some ways to do this in the future. Cheers, ...

Hi: We fixed a memory leak that was causing a long delay when trying to quit Nisus Writer Express after it has been open for a long period of time in the beta. Also, when you have an application like Nisus Writer Express open but you don't use it for a long time, Mac OS X might save most of its memo...

cgc:

When it starts to look like Word's new XML format will become a real world need for our users, we will definitely implement it. From a technical point of view, of course, XML would be much preferred anyway. :-)

Hi Victor:

To the point of your thread, the way we would like to solve this problem is to make Autosave non-destructive so that it is safe to have this feature on no matter what.

Hi Tacitus:

I'm unclear, do you want the window to resize to fit the page or the page to resize to fit the window? The last one is certainly possible. Choose "Page Width" or "Entire Page" from the Zoom tag at the bottom of your window.

Timothy:

I'm not sure why you are experiencing problem with our download. We use a service called FileBurst to host our downloads that we pay extra for specifically to keep downloads fast. Please try it again and let us know if you are still having problems.

Hi:

We are planning to reintroduce this feature in a release soon after 2.5. Currently we are focused on getting 2.5 as stable as possible. Then we will move onto adding new features for the next release.

Hi: Two things I want to say: 1. This is how autosave works on most word processors. (That does not mean it is best, it just is.) However, we will make some changes to autosave to deal with the situation you are describing. For starters, autosave will no longer trigger if you have not modified the d...

Hello Roger: The next version of Nisus Writer Express will be 2.5. The sneak peeks you can currently get is more or less what will be available. We decided for this release to make it available to users early on and to work out as many bugs as possible. We want to make this is something you can rely...

Hello: Nisus Writer is the word processor we developed for the original Mac OS starting in 1985. In 2000, Apple switched to a brand new operating system called Mac OS X. Under this new system, some very old applications, such as Nisus Writer, no longer would worked. At that time, we decided to creat...

Hi: We've just started looking at this issue, but here is what we know so far: First off, your existing copies of Nisus Writer Express (and any future versions we have out by then) should just work out of the box because of Rosetta. The biggest drawback to Rosetta is that it can be slow for some typ...

Hi midwinter: It sounds like you did the right thing to make your page number appear on all pages. One thing you might check is to make sure that the same header and footer is actually set to appear on every page. Here is how you find out: 1. Choose the "Sections" palette group and look fo...

Thanks for this feedback. We have added it to our list of things to do. Can you tell me more about why you are looking for this feature? What do you get out of a full screen approach compared to just maximizing your window? Do you need any controls besides the raw text?
