Re: Development pace
Rather than complain about the lack of updates, I suggest you post features you need or bugs you've found. That may justify or prove that a need exists to push out new releases. As it stands, NWP is very very good and I personally don't need anything. Tell the dev that you'd like to see done.

Re: Would you want Nisus Writer to support the ePub file for
While I think export to ePub is nice to have, importing is much less important (just like we can export pdf files but not import them).

Re: ePub
I use AnyBizSoft PDF Converter which converts any PDF to editable Word, ePub, or other format. If you print your document to PDF it should be able to convert it to ePub. They offer a 5 page trial.

Re: importing a .pdf into a .rtf?
I wanted to convert some PDFs to ePubs so I tried out AnyBizSoft Pdf Converter (http://anybizsoft.net/). It does a great job and also converts from PDF to Word. I've only found one file it choked on.

Re: Desired NWP1.2 Features
I thought for a second I missed something. Other than that fix to the draggable margins, I can't think of any additions to NWP I need.Groucho wrote:I meant that margins are draggable anyway, but they should hopefully not be so. I did not make myself very clear. Sorry.
Cheers, Henry.

Re: Desired NWP1.2 Features
As I said elsewhere, margins should not be draggable when visibility is turned off. By the way, may I harp on about an old feature request of mine? Well, I think space before a paragraph should not be inter-paragraph space only, but act as a real space before when a paragraph occurs after a break o...

Re: Desired NWP1.2 Features
I find that I can accidentally click and drag the page margins (and header/footer sizes) and resize them in inadvertently. This seems to happen far too often while I edit documents. I'd love for this behavior to be "fixed."

Re: NWP Like App for Windows?
I've tried a lot of programs and always end up editing my college papers in NWP. Oh well, I think Papyrus is nice as is Word Perfect. I'll pick one of them for my intermittent Windows XP usage. Thanks.

Re: NWP Like App for Windows?
I'm looking for something like NWP or NWE for Windows (e.g. quick, lean, and elegant). I don't need a behemoth like Office, OpenOffice, and don't like WordPerfect much. Hard to find a simple word processor that does things right.

Re: NWP Like App for Windows?
I just found PageFour for Windows and it's looking promising. I especially like that I can have numerous files open at the same time in a hierarchal list on the side and flip between them.
It's located at http://www.softwareforwriting.com/ if anyone's curious.

NWP Like App for Windows?
I have been using NWE and now NWP for some time and sometimes stay in Windows XP. I find that using Word 2007 in Windows isn't efficient and was curious if anyone has found a program similar to NWE or NWP (or Mellel) that works in Windows for those times I'm stuck there.
Thanks.
Thanks.
