Re: Sonoma compatibility
Also, I have been using version 3.4 in my work, which means a lot of typing, and not a single suggestion has appeared. If predictive were working here, something would have shown up by now. I suspect you are right that this is a MacOS system problem. Sorry to hear it! I would start with the goal of...

Re: Sonoma compatibility
I don't know how much coaching predictive text normally requires for training, but it started working "right out of the box" in Mail. I have tried various things to test it in NWP. For example, I typed a sentence in Mail (new editing window) that brought up suggestions in several places. I...

Re: Sonoma compatibility
Predictive text also does not work in TextEdit or Pages. Same with a new Nisus document.

Re: Sonoma compatibility
NWP 3.4 is working fine for me except for one thing: I cannot get inline predictive text to work. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem, and how you solved it. I've spend three hours today trying whatever came to mind, including fiddling with input sources. Predictive text is turned on in sys...

Re: So Window Tabs Are Not Permanent, Correct?
For those who, like me, do NOT want window tabs, here's how to disable them in Sierra. Go to System Preferences > Dock, and find the item "Prefer tabs when opening documents." Change the pop-up menu to "Manually." It's strange that this item would be in the Dock section, but ther...

Re: Language palette with Japanese
Thanks. The Language Palette appears to display an entry from the Japanese reference placed highest on the list in Dictionary.app preferences. I also use Chinese, and it works for that language, too.

Language palette with Japanese
I most often work in English and Japanese. When the cursor is in English text, the Nisus Thesaurus -- or the dictionary, if the word is misspelled -- is active, but if the cursor is in Japanese text, it previously just went blank. However, in Pro version 2.1 I notice that when the cursor is in Japan...

Re: Copy all NWP settings to another computer
BTW, I would still like to know if there is any practical way of copying the "Fix typos" list from one machine to another.

The Nisus Documents folder was already chosen, but I did it again just to make sure, then quit and relaunched Pro. However, the macros and glossaries still don't show up. BTW, in QuickFix there is also a "Fix typos" table. On my desktop machine I completely changed the ex-factory set with ...

Re: Where is My License code?!
I recently purchased Pro from the App Store. I wonder how to find out what the license code is because (1) page ix of the Pro manual says that if we purchase Pro from the App Store we should register it with Nisus Software, and (2) I want to preserve the number elsewhere in case it's needed in the f...
