By the way, NIsusUser, if you are using .rtfd you can edit the images without having them out of the file and linked. Just locate the file in the finder, right-click on it and select Show Package Contents. The images are there.
Greetings, Henry.

Thanks, Geoff.
exegete, I’ll give it a try. Although I think I’ll stick to my tradition, which is settled on Gentium. Thank you.
Best, Henry.

Re: Gee, NWP is a pleasure to work with!
Thank you.
I used Gentium Book Basic (by SIL.org) for the main text and Tallys (by Jos Buivenga) for the headings. This is my standard set. People who have read my books thoroughly have said they are very good. I think you can find both on Font Squirrel.

This is the link on Amazon.com
Please note that images in Amazon’s “look inside” preview appear darker than in the printed version. Glad to help.

Re: Gee, NWP is a pleasure to work with!
Hi, Geoff I published two printed books through CreateSpace for selling on Amazon. The first one was a novel, very simple. The second one came out a few months ago. It’s 186 pages long, with a number of tables, about 50 images with captions, many of them floating. I have here a printed copy with me....

Re: How do I apply a template to an existing document (RTF)
Hello, Per. There are two ways. The longer: Open your document. Go to Style Sheet view by clicking on the upper left corner icon. In the left pane, click on plus sign (+) and select Import from Style Library… Check on the template you wish to import the styles from. Click Import . This will import t...

Hello, jjlancaster.
Does this work for you?
Edit>Paste>Paste Text Only
Or, if you want to remove formatting from preexisting text:
Format>Remove Attributes Except Styles
Best Regards, Henry.

Re: Finding Shortest +1 doesn’t work as I think it should
Hello, Matze. PowerFind Pro is OK. Your regexp finds a string starting with a tab (\t), followed by a string which does not contain a return (.+?) followed by return (\t). By the way, you can do without the non-greedy question mark as period (.) means any character except return. So, the correct reg...

Re: Flow text to every other page in bilingual document
Hello, NisusUser I don’t think NWP is the best application to do this. InDesign is surely better as you can set a master page for right pages and another for left ones. I have used text boxes, but not so extensively. I think it’ll take some doing to paginate a book, if that’s what you mean to do. Be...

Yes, of course. A heading for a section. I suppose you are saying you have multiple chapters per section, haven’t you?

Re: Automatic capter titels in header
Hello, d3m00. Here is a workaround. First apply a table-of-content level to your headings. Put the insertion point where you want the chapter title to appear in the header. Select Insert>Cross-Reference… From the Insert Reference to drop-down select in TOC: Default TOC . The headings will appear lis...

Re: Spelling checker won't forget a word
It's not there. The first two folders (Library/Spelling) contain a custom spelling dictionary. The other two (Library/Dictionaries) contain definition packages for Dictionary.app.
