Re: Closing Quotation Marks
Your macro does exactly what I want, thank you very much, Philip! Interesting was that your macro found 10 occurences. Afterwards I tried it once more with the original document but deleted all zero-width spaces before. Then your macro found 45 occurences. That means that 35 occurences where repaire...

Yes, that's it.
Thank you very much, Martin!
Remains the problem how to find the lines which start with a closing quotation mark.

Re: Closing Quotation Marks
Hello Adrian, I am sorry, I didn't see your reply before, I only now read it. I tried your macro, it didn't change anything. The rest of your post is not clear for me, perhaps my English is too bad. Anyway the point is that adding a zero-width space or a zero-width non-joiner character solves the pr...

Closing Quotation Marks
There is an annoying bug in Apple's text engine: sometimes a closing quotation mark stands alone at the beginning of a new line instead at the end of the preceding line. This problem occurs in German texts, perhaps also in other languages. Martin suggested at <viewtopic.php?p=31085#p31085> a solutio...

Re: Unwanted line break
Now I remember, that I already had this problem before. Martin posted me the solution:
<viewtopic.php?p=31085#p31085>
That solves the problem. No need for further help. Not Nisus, Apple is the guilty.

Unwanted line break
Nisus makes in my German text before the closing brackets a line break (see snapshot). How can I prevent that?

Prevent word-wrap
Dear colleagues, I have a problem with word-wrap, perhaps someone has an advice. I am working on a very large dictionary. In this dictionary some entries are not from me, but cited from other books. The citations are marked with curly brackets {} followed by the source of the quote in superscript an...

Re: Problem with dark mode
Yes, you can turn it off. Go to Preferences > Appearance. The first drop-down menu allows you to switch between Dark Mode and Light Mode. I personally love Dark Mode für menus but prefer Text in Light Mode. This is possible in the chex box under the drop-down menu. But in this configuration there is...

Re: Mysterious Control Character
Dear Adryan, I tried to copy and paste the character in the Nisus document and it worked. I could also search for it in the document with the marvelous search function in Nisus. But when I pasted it in the search field of the character viewer nothing happened, I did not get any information about it....

What tool did you use to find the character code? (so that I can help myself next time)

Mysterious Control Character
I found a mysterious Control Character in a Nisus document: snap.png After the digit 9 there is a unvisible character with no width represented by a small T before the return. Does anybody know what it stands for? What does it do? How did I insert it? Can I search for it? Can I delete it without cau...
