Re: PageBreaking samePageSectionBreaks
Thanks, Hamid, I just substituted the page breaks with the page breaking section breaks on the affected pages.
That's good enough for me (and visually more true to the original text replicated in the document).
Thank you for all your help.

Re: PageBreaking samePageSectionBreaks
Wow, thanks, Hamid!
That seems in fact to be the cause.
And an unfortunate shortcoming it is indeed!

PageBreaking samePageSectionBreaks
Just wondering if anybody has had the same experience: Some of the same page section breaks I insert into my document break page anyway, while most don't. And I can't figure out why. Is this behavior somehow expected and predictable, if you know where to look? Or is this a quirk? Any input is much a...

Now that is a handy thing to know!phspaelti wrote:An often forgotten feature of Nisus is that you can edit the clipboard. So you really don't need to keep an empty document as a scratch pad.
Thanks, Philip!

Efficiency/Workflow: Make Tracked Changes' text selectable
Just now, I've found myself wanting to reuse a snippet from within text I had edited out.
I didn't want to undo the whole change I had made to that section, but sort of to partially reverse it by copy-pasting from the Changes pane.
So I think it would be useful to have that text selectable.

Re: Feature Request: exception list for Display as Capitaliz
Thanks, Philip, for your macro solution! Though, really, my request should have been for an style option Display as Title Case. And an implementation would really have to adhere to the different title case conventions of supported writing languages. Can these two features—language sensitivity and im...

Brilliant!
Edit:
…only that Table Cell Shading attributes are dropped.

Re: Typing characters with a circumflex
Hi Louis Diacritical features, like many characters, depend on the keyboard layout you are using. To produce a circumflexed letter like ê in experiência on an American keyboard you would hit ⌥i + e. If you're not using the American layout chose Show Keyboard Viewer from the Input menu in the menu ba...

Feature Request: exception list for Display as Capitalized
I've seen this very recently somewhere, can't recall where: A list in the preferences of words to exclude from the Display as Capitalized function. That way those little words like to, from, a, the , etc. could be exempt from capitalization. That feature, in NWP, would naturally need to be sensitive...

Re: Trackpad zoom
You can solve you problem with BetterTouchTool.
In the Gestures section, Trackpad tab, add NWP as the target app and add the gestures Pinch In and Pinch Out with Predefined Action set to No Action.
Cheers

Re: NWP 2.04 Crashing Continuously
Hi
I got the non-stop crash after moving to a new mac with 10.8 installed.
After trashing all preference and auxiliary files NWP now only crashes when I save a document.
What to do?
Attaching the last crash report…

Re: Unexpected behavior/Feature request: complex selection
That's a great tip, Martin! Thanks! At first I thought it wasn't working, because I usually tap-to-click on the trackpad of my "old" MackBook Pro and that way it doesn't work (at least on SnowLeopard it doesn't.) But using the trackpad's dedicated button it does. ;) Great to still learn ne...
