Re: can't edit outline (list) style
Thanks! So if I understand correctly, I choose a list style, say outline level 1. Then I can apply a separate paragraph style, say I create a paragraph style and name is "level 1 para", and that will combine with the list style, but not change the list style. Then every time I use the outl...

can't edit outline (list) style
I use outlines a great deal, but have never figured out how to edit the outline list styles beyond the few options shown when I click on edit list styles on the palette. For example, I want to specify the amount of space before and after different levels of the outline. This may be something simple ...

Re: crashes; can't put icon in dock
Yes, I got some good help on the dock issue, and there haven't been any more crashes, and I have loved Nisus for some years and continue to.

crashes; can't put icon in dock
Nisus 3 crashed a couple of times, once on opening, then when I tried to explore the preferences. In addition, I can't put the Nisus 3 icon in the dock. The only way I could get around it was to drag a shortcut to the desktop then copy that into the dock.

Is there a macro that will print all open documents on the currently selected printer?

text jumps around terribly when wrapped around a graphic
I use charts a great deal when I write reports. The charts are made in Chartsmith, then pasted into Nisus at the appropriate place, and the paragraph that describes the chart is wrapped around the chart. I use between 1 and 4 charts in most reports. After I paste the chart in and choose image moves ...

document manager awkward
I have difficulty knowing what to do with the document manager -- other than to stop having it appear. There doesn't seem to be any way for it to look in folders and subfolders where I organize my documents. Along with this, I have no use for a folder called "nisus documents. Am I missing somet...

text box and shading
Thanks. That works. And I even was able to paste a chart into the cell, not that I needed to do that.ptram wrote:Tom, a single-cell table should do what you are trying to do.

text boxes and shading
It doesn't appear that NWP allows me to insert a box to put text in, nor to use shading for a paragraph (or inside the box). Have I missed something?
