Thanks to you both. This makes sense, and indeed the problem was solved when I added an Endnote style to the document. Now clicking on the green star yields both options (when earlier it had only one).

This was at least with versions 1.0 through 1.01. I will send a file, though now as I attempt to recreate the problem it does not seem to appear. Perhaps 1.02/03 has fixed it? I suppose it could be intermittent . . .

I've noticed, for a while now, a problem with some tables I've created. Every time I open them, the typeface size for every cell in the table has been reduced to 1-point, rather than the 12-pt I've been working with. Thus, I need to select all and resize every time I open the file. Maybe I'm missing...
