Nisus Writer Pro for iOS
I really like using Nisus but it is evident that the file format is pushing users to other word processors. Sharing documents over devices via the cloud is here to stay. However, neither Word or Pages for iOS will open Nisus documents. So I'm compelled to ask the oft asked question: "Any plans ...

Re: Lists/Outlines & Format Conversions
Thanks Phillip, Your initial suggestion resolved my problem. All of the list levels were associated with Zapf Dingbats and converted to such by Word. I changed the association to the Calibri font for all levels except the one with a dingbat bullet point. Everything exported nicely. Not sure about yo...

Lists/Outlines & Format Conversions
I love Nisus' interface and prefer to use it but have a problem with lists/outlines when I open it with Word. Why does my Nisus outline numerics become "dingbats"? (See Attached pics) This is problematic when sharing documents with colleagues.

Re: Wingdings as bullet points
Thank you Martin. The attachment cleared things up for me. I knew there was a "trick" to it. Just couldn't figure it out. BTW, I love the Nisus interface.

I heartily concur! A custom setting makes good sense.

Re: Wingdings as bullet points
I tried your tip and it looks right in the style sheet but appear the same as before in the actual list. I did notice that the wingdings do not allow for font variations while the other categories of special characters do somewhat. Would that be the problem?

Wingdings as bullet points
Whenever I try to use a wingding character as a bullet point I get this: (see attached png file) It doesn't seem to matter which wingding character I use the result is the same. I am able to insert the wingding characters into a document but am unable to use them as bullet points. Is there a way to ...

Underline is too light
When I use underline the line is very light. Is there a way to adjust this? When I double underline, it is as dark as the font I'm using. I've messed around in preferences and the font palette but to no avail...

Re: Nisus 2.0.3 won't open – HELP!
The same thing happened to me. 2.03 would not open. I just move it to the trash and reinstalled 2.02. That got me back in business. I'm sure they will work out the bug soon.

Autosave & versions
I know Apple is pushing developers to conform to this file handling protocol. Please, retain the traditional "save/save as..." approach (at least as an option). I'd also prefer autosave/versions as an option that can be turned on or off in your application.

Re: document formats
I am using a few basic templates that I have created in NWP. Therefore they are not strictly speaking "new documents" but are new docs based on an existing template. So I gather that the preference setting (Word document) does not override the template's default format (rtf). Or is there a...

document formats
In my preferences I have "word document" listed as my default format (I share docs with a bunch of Word users), but when I save documents the default is rtf and I have to change it to .doc--shouldn't the preference set up govern how documents are actually saved? Or is this a bug?

Re: Bullet points
How do you edit the field marked "bullet"? There are several "wingding" based bullets that I like to use.
