Re: Moving Cursor By Paragraph
Thanks Martin. You've reminded me of something I research a few years ago - that the DefaultKeyBinding.dict file needs to be replaced. Before I go through that I think I'll try and adjust to using Option Up & Down arrow, instead. Thanks also for posting the DefaultKeyBinding.dict file, in case I...

Moving Cursor By Paragraph
I've been using NWP for years, but am still challenged with the fact that every time I use Command Down Arrow the cursor drops to the very bottom of the document - sometimes 40 or 50 pages below where I am. How would I go about creating a macro or command that took the cursor down one paragraph at a...

Re: Selecting a Single Word
Thanks Martin.
As usual you came through with just what I needed.
This tip will be used by me many thousands of time in the coming years!

Selecting a Single Word
Is anyone aware of a macro that will select the entire word by simply having the cursor placed somehwhere within that word?
This would make text editing a whole lot easier.
Thanks

Demoing NWP 2
I have been using NWP for years and would like to try out Version Two without committing to it, at first.
1. Is this possible, or does this only work as an upgrade of the previous version?
2. How does the demo of V2 handle the preferences & settings of V1?

Reversing Character
Has anyone ever developed a macro that reverses characters?
For example:
theer > there
whele > wheel
ohlding > holding
As I've gotten older I'm finding I'm making this kind of mistake more often.

Re: Stacking Windows Macro
Thanks Kino. This is an improvement and does a good job of minimizing all but the frontmost window. The challenge I'm finding is that I work with multiple windows at a time, and need to Command Tilde rotate between them. This, obviously, doesn't work when the windows are minimized. Hopefully, they w...

Re: Text Color Screen Options
Thanks Martin, I already do this with the Full Screen mode. My hope is to use NWP in its regular screen mode with white text on a blue background but, at present, this means that all of the files I save end up appearing blank when opened with other applications, or viewed with Quick Look in the Find...

Text Color Screen Options
Being new to NWP I'm wondering if there is a way to have the color of the text on the screen one color, without actually changing the real color of the text itself? For instance, I find white text on a dark blue background is soothing to the eyes. But when I change the text color to white I can no l...

Re: Batch Conversion
Once again, Kino, you have hit the target. This does exactly what I needed it to do. It will be very helpful to have this macro to convert the many plain text docs I created while using Emacs.
Thanks

Re: Batch Conversion
Let's see if I can answer your questions: Q. What file extension do they have? A. They have no creator or type code. When listed in Terminal they have no file extension. Q. Are you wanting to convert them into .rtf? A. Yes Q. Are there some tags, e.g. <i>…</i> for Italic style, in those files, that ...

Batch Conversion
Now that I'm using NWP, and am impressed by its many features, I'd like to convert all of my Emac files to open in NWP.
Is there a way to batch convert all of my Emacs files to NWP - assuming they are all in the same directory?

Re: Stacking Windows Macro
Thanks for the insight. Being new to NWP and Nisus in general, I didn't realize that NWP was a complete rewrite. This helps me to make more sense out of its limitations.
