Love of language
I just noticed the menu item View> Ancillary Content. And I love that you used the word "ancillary". It speaks volumes.

Auto-fix option for double-caps
Could an option be added to Quick-fix to correct instances of double capitalization, such as this: NEw YOrk.

Formatting text of a cross-reference
I am just starting to use cross-references. I have them displaying as "bookmark name" so I can see them in the Bookmark list on the left. So let's say I have a cross-reference "Chicago", appearing at the end of a sentence, "Programs in large cities provide a variety of examp...

"must agree to EULA"
After installing Nisus 3.1 I cannot open any documents except those that were open when the application was active last. I cannot open the template file either to make a blank document. The error message says "Must agree to EULA". I didn't see any license agreement. My license is not new. ...

Re: floating "unknown.jpg"
Never mind, after switching to Safari to post this I went back to Nisus and it was gone. Guess the impending presence of Nisus experts frightened it away!

floating "unknown.jpg"
This little rectangle labelled "Unknown.jpg 6.66 x 8.88 in" now floats above whatever Nisus document I open or create. (see attachment) It is "pinned" to a certain screen position, so that if I move the top document, the rectangle stays put and comes to rest above a different are...

Re: TOC part of "Normal" style not continued
It is indeed strange, I suppose, both what I am doing and what results I am getting. But I need that clickable list of the beginning of each paragraph. For now I will just reset each new para using the palette, and perhaps try pasting the text into a new doc as plain text, then applying a style to i...

Re: TOC part of "Normal" style not continued
Yes, I am using the TOC so that I can have a clickable 'map' of the paragraphs, in the sidebar. The document is a compilation of bits and pieces, I don't know how the Bullet feature got into the style sheet, but no bullets appear; maybe only if I apply list style to a ¶? At first all was well, each ...

Cynthia
When I hit Return, the next paragraph should continue to be Normal, included in the TOC, but it changes

Cynthia

Kino,
Thank you very much. The macro didn't work for me but the TOC style method is perfect.

Making and index of first lines?
Is there a way to generate an index of first lines of paragraphs for a document? And then click on a line and go to that line? I seem to remember something like this long ago in Nisus.

Re: LibreOfficeImporter hanging
Also had this problem & Hamid's fix works for me. Thank you, Hamid! BTW I couldn’t find "libreoffice importer" on my MBP using Spotlight or Easyfind & was stumped until I tried double-clicking on the item in the Activity Monitor list, which yielded a window that told me what the &q...

Re: after upgrade, "new file" is in trash
Two restarts and all is well. All Nisus would open was old saved docs, wouldn’t open a new doc. I don't understand it either.
Thanks!
