Find return characters in footnotes and replace with pilcrow

Hi, once again, I need a way to find all returns in footnotes and replace them with pilcrows. What I want to do is make it so all the text in every footnote is only one paragraph (so it can be easily converted to plain text). The pilcrows will mark where the return characters were (so they can be re...

You can use the menu command Table:Select:Select Next Table
or run it as a macro.
Thank you, Hamid! Just what I was looking for. I assigned a Menu Key to it and am good to go!

Quick find of any tables in a file?

Hi, everybody Is there a quick way to just open a file in NWP and run some macro to see if there is a table in it? I've got some large files that I want to look for tables in, but I don't want to scroll through them. I need to find the tables and convert them to text and then make sure the text is f...

Add a color from the color palette to menu item?

Is there a way to add a color from the color palette (say, "Tangerine") to the menu, so that I can assign a Menu Key to it? I'd like more / different colors from the ones available by default. From the Format > Highlight > Show Highlight Colors menu item I can get to "Tangerine," but it's a lot of c...

Re: Remove all previous versions, so a file cannot be reverted?

I've found that the revert function does some weird things, probably because I do so and don't really understand how the old versions are kept or I just don't pay attention. I haven't really tried to nail it down precisely, but I often start with an old file with old, but similar text to what I want...

Apparently, how to delete old versions is not mentioned in the User's Guide.
Martin, Maybe that's something that could be added to the User's Guide? It's not exactly self-explanatory (to me, anyway :) )

Re: Remove all previous versions, so a file cannot be reverted?

The menubar is hidden; it appears when you move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen. You're absolutely correct, Hamid! Sorry I didn't realize that. Seems like it's really hidden, since I just tried it once, and couldn't get it, but on my second try, it appeared. (Just operator error on my pa...

Re: Remove all previous versions, so a file cannot be reverted?

While you are in Browse All Versions..., go to File menu, press Option and go to Revert to... and apply the submenu Delete Old Versions... I don't see any File menu or any other menus at all when I am in "Browse All Versions." Rather, there is a stack of versions on the right and the current saved ...

Ahhh! Now I found it! I just had to slide the bar at the bottom to get back to the main menu items. Sorry about being, well, not too alert :)

Remove all previous versions, so a file cannot be reverted?

Is there a way to make it so a file cannot be reverted to previous data? I.e., can the versions one could revert to be deleted?

NWP 3.0.4 How to assign menu key to Insert > Hyperlink > Remove Link

I'm wondering if there's a reason that I cannot assign a menu key to this. The function Insert > Hyperlink > Remove Link works fine in v. 3.0.4, and I need to use it several times in several files. But when I go to Preferences > Menu Keys , I cannot find any " Insert " item to dig down to the final ...
