Re: FR: make Unicode U+202F visible in Nisus Writer Pro
G'day, Eric et al Or you could use a similar technique, but without involving the neighbors, to find all occurrences of the special character and then color them, with either a background color or a highlight color. This could be done using the Replace mechanism if desired. If you prefer a monochro...

Re: FR: make Unicode U+202F visible in Nisus Writer Pro
Thanks for the good suggestion! I'm surprised this character was omitted from "show invisibles" for so long. We should be able to add this invisible mark for the next Nisus Writer update. That's great news, Martin! Thank you. I'm looking forward to it. I have a situation where I must use ...

FR: make Unicode U+202F visible in Nisus Writer Pro
Hi, everybody, but especially Martin (since I think this is a feature request). Unless I'm mistaken, if one inserts a U+202F Narrow Non-Breaking Space (via the Mac's "Unicode Hex Input" keyboard) into the text of a Nisus document, there is no way to see that character, even if View > Show ...

Re: Assign keyboard shortcut to non-standard highlight color?
@Adryan (aka Adrian), I started to ask you to share with me how you got the Hex code for the Tangerine color. I had been looking at the CMYK slider and did not see any Hex Color Number. But after I uploaded my screenshot, which I did of the RGB slider I saw that the "Hex Color #" is there....

Re: Assign keyboard shortcut to non-standard highlight color?
$tangerine = Color.newWithHexTriplet 'FF9300' Set Text Color $tangerine Thank you, Adrian. I did that. And it works – in a way. It actually changed the text color to tangerine, though, not the highlight behind the text. How do I do that? Eric EDIT: Oh, that was easy: All I had to do was change the ...

Assign keyboard shortcut to non-standard highlight color?
Is there a way to assign a keyboard shortcut to the color "Tangerine"? I already have shortcuts assigned to the regularly listed colors:

Re: FR: Have font search string look for matches in entire font name, not merely from the beginning
Have you considered a new customized font collection? You can create your own font-collections and have them appear in the Font menu. This can be done in two ways, either in Nisus directly or in Apple's Font Book. Hi, Þorvarður, I had completely forgotten about that feature. I did have "Fixed ...

Re: FR: Have font search string look for matches in entire font name, not merely from the beginning
I kept looking at this little search box and wondering "Where is this feature in NWP?". But now I realize you created this as a mock-up? The current implementation requires one to type directly in the font list. And you have to type 'swiftly' or it will keep jumping to the next letter. (&...

FR: Have font search string look for matches in entire font name, not merely from the beginning
I’d like Nisus Writer Pro to sort the list of available fonts if the string in the search field is anywhere in the font name, rather than looking for matches with only the beginning of the font name. For example, I know I want a mono-spaced font, but I can never remember the names of the ones I have...

Re: Sonoma compatibility
The beta mentioned in this thread is v 3.4 beta 1.
v 3.4 beta 3 has been released. Maybe it would help. I'm not sure where you can find it, though. Maybe write to Martin and see? (profeedback[at]nisus[dot]com)

Re: InfoClick Crashes While Indexing
I recently started using Sonoma. Today I tried to run InfoClick. I've had three crashes so far, and do not intend to try again. I have submitted crash reports to Nisus. Hopefully Martin will have time to look into the problem.
