Indeed, it does, thanks for the tip! Still quite unexpected though, the option key shouldn't be needed if that's the behaviour we've configured in our System Preferences… Ah well, I can live with that.Þorvarður wrote:first press and hold down the Option key, and then click. That will do the trick.

Re: NWP v2: Non-native scrollbars?
Flafora's answer woke me up. :D Since my original post, I changed my Mac, I'm on an iMac with OS X 10.9 "Mavericks" now, and guess what? The problem is still happening: I have my scrollbar behaviour set to "jump to the spot that's clicked", but Nisus Writer Pro doesn't honour it,...

Re: how to keep tables together
Sorry to resurrect this old thread: Anything new on this? I have a table which ends up having its header line at the bottom of a page and all its details lines at the beginning of the next one, which looks very weird. So of course, I can insert a page break before, but if the contents of the documen...

Re: NWP v2: Non-native scrollbars?
@Martin: Thanks a lot. I'm actually ready to buy NWP, that was the only thing that kept me back. But if it's working on Snow Leopard and Lion, I guess I'll have to upgrade someday anyway, so nothing's keeping me now. Would love to have it working on Leopard too, as I'm probably stuck with it for som...

Re: A mere curiosity: Nisus for Linux
One solution might be to use GNUstep (http://www.gnustep.og), Cocoa's open-source cousin. But that's up to the Nisus guys to decide is they want to do that or not. The answer probably being 'not', since it certainly wouldn't be easy: There are quite a few differences and incompatibilities between Co...

Re: NWP v2: Non-native scrollbars?
Hello Martin, and thanks for your answer.
I'm on Leopard, 10.5.8 to be precise. I use the Mac for my work, so I didn't upgrade to the latest versions: As long as it works, you avoid doing anything that can break things… And I don't have any application enhancer at all, just the plain OS.

NWP v2: Non-native scrollbars?
Hello all, I've downloaded NWP v2 and tried it out, and I've noticed something annoying for me: I have scrollbars set to 'jump to here' mode in my system settings, but in NWP v2, they act as if the mode was 'jump to the next page'. I've tried to download the latest beta too, but no luck: Still the s...
