Dear Martin,
the chance to see footnotes in Draft View would be exceptionally useful. But I believe that has not been implemented up to now. Is there any chance to be done?
Thanks,
Rob

Re: Better interaction with Bookends
Dear Philip, I have already download it the macro, and check it. I have done some corrections, and I will run next month for my next Egyptological writing. I ask anyone interested to the macro to give me until the end of May before checking the correctness of my own version. As I have looked through...

Re: Better interaction with Bookends
Dear Philip, to reply to your question, transliteration for ancient Egyptian is simply left to right. Ancient Egyptians can write left to right right to left and in columns, but the transliteration follows a "normal" left to right writing. As I quite like the option no. 2 you proposed, but...

Re: Better interaction with Bookends
Dear Philip, I should have written not usual ordering, but being at the end of a long day, my mind flipped on. Anyway, Ancient Egyptian transliteration follows a order in which Alef, is followed by y, then ayn and so on. This is particular ordering does not belong to any actual language, so I cannot...

Re: Better interaction with Bookends
Dear Martin, I thank you for the reply and kind words. I hope that my request does not take long time to you for implementing.... I have the same request I asked 4 years ago: creation of index following special orders. As asked then, I am working with transliterations and such transliterations follo...

Better interaction with Bookends
I am using Bookends as Bibliographic Software. With Mellel, Bookends has an API, through which the references used appear on the side box, so you can select the references to be used elsewhere in the same paper. I have contacted Jon at sonnysoftware, the developer of Bookends, and he told me that he...

Re: Camera ready copy for an Egyptological book
Dear Martin, I thank you for the reply. I understand the point about indexing, but this raises me another question. Can I mark the words I want to put in the transliteration index, so they will be put in an index by their own and manually sort them? I believe that there is no problem about hieroglyp...

Camera ready copy for an Egyptological book
Dear List members, I am coming to write as I was interested to have a copy of Nisus Writer Pro in my new MacMini, after many years working with Pro and now writing a book in LaTeX. I would like to use Nisus Writer Pro for my next enterprise. I would like to know however, if it really can create a Ca...
