I'm still working with 10.4 but I think I read that 10.5 doesn't have a Classic environment. So the only possibility to open Classic NW documents on 10.5 is to import them to NWX/NWP or another word processor.

Does anybody know if the release of Nisus Writer Pro means that Nisus Writer Express is discontinued? Or will both applications being developed?

Like others mentioned before I don't like the tactics to release NWP as "new" application. But maybe one needs this marketing if the application comes three years too late? But anyway with the crossrefs-feature I still hope it will import Crossrefs from old Classic Nisus-documents correctly.

german localizsation

in german language it is usual to wirte e.g. "1,5" instead of "1.5" which is reflected by the number-block of the keyboard. there is a , not a . on german keyboards. but nwx needs dots e. g. with the page margins. please change this in the localization of 2.7, there is no reason ...

2. There is actually a bug in 2.6.1 that makes all this irrelevant. Eg: Express always uses Page view if an existing file does not specify a view. I've seen that this will be fixed for our upcoming upgrade (free). everything what you write was totally clear for me. I just meant the situation you me...

draft view by default

if you start an already existing rtf-file for the first time nwx it always is shown in page view. is there a possibility to set the standard view to draft view?

if there is no possibility for that I would like to add this as a feature request.

We don't have to learn Mellel's styles (which aren't complicated but why should word processing be anything other than simple). because sometimes things which are real powerful aren't possible to be only simple? btw mellel's styles are not that complicated, they're not simple that's true, but they ...

Sorry I have not asked about editable hyphenation dictionaries but about *where* they are located. I want to know which languages' hyphenation are supported by nwx therefor I want to know where the dictionaries are.

imho Mellel is the greatest wordprocessor which ever existed. It is still in developement what means, that it isn't completed, many important features are still missing (the same with NWX), as well as while it's permanent (and fast) improvement process users' needs and wishes are considered. I don't...
