Re: Nisus still crashes pasting from Chrome, Firefox, etc

Copying from Firefox and pasting into NWP works fine too. Which website are you trying to copy from?

Nisus Writer Pro 2.1.8
Firefox 60.0.2 (64-bit)
macOS Sierra 10.12.6

Re: TOC in alphabetical order

Hi, is there good way to do this ? You can do this very easily if you use the *index* feature instead of TOC. An index is sorted alphabetically and can be placed at the beginning of a document (or wherever you want.) It can also be formatted in various ways. I would like to have the same formatting ...

Re: Nisus auto save on close with no warning

took the pdf [Do you mean 'png'?] to Photoshop and made it a web jpg, bit of a tedious process to get a screen image. Maybe you used a sledgehammer to crack a nut. You can use Preview (the program) to reduce the size of screenshots. 1. Open the screenshot in Preview 2. Choose Export… from the File ...

Re: Nisus auto save on close with no warning

Also, I thought the back up save was saved versions, but there was only one version, which matched the new save. Is there something wrong there too? When you say "back up save", are you then referring to saving a duplicate copy of each file to another location? (See Nisus Preferences –> Saving: Bac...

Re: Save to / Save as to a particular file format

Here is an improved version of the macro which eliminates the " converted" part of the display name. If nothing is selected it will use the original file name and save the file as .rtf $doc = Document.active if $doc == undefined exit end # You can select some text in the document and use as a new fi...

In the simple formatting macro I am creating I would like to include a command that hides any/all headers/footers.
How about View:Draft View ?

You may have to adjust the zoom factor for the new view. For example:
View:Draft View
Set Zoom 180 # or whatever zoom factor you use

Re: Save to / Save as to a particular file format

if opened in Nisus with the .doc extension Nisus will wish to save as a Word .doc format Hmm, if you have the default format in Nisus Preferences set to 'Rich Text Format (RTF)', then Nisus should offer Rich Text Format as the first saving option. Nisus Writer Pro –> Preference –> Saving –> File Fo...

has the cirumflex a special meaning in Nisus?
The caret has special meanings in PowerFind Pro expressions, but that's of no relevance here.

Re: the ^ circumflex in Nisus

Just a thought, could it be that you are typing a wrong character? How do you type the character? There are a number of ways to create it; it all depends on which language keyboard layout you are using. Choose the Keyboard Viewer from the Input menu (in the upper right corner of your screen.) Is the...

Re: How to select all note reference and make change to them?

Hello, You can do this with the commands: [1] Select Next Note Reference and [2] Select Note Text number # This macro will first allow you to change the font for note references in the document, then it will add a space after the note reference in the notes. View:Page View # Just in case the inserti...

Re: Import Table data from browser as text?

sometimes I need to copy and pate it as text. Looking for a way to accomplish this. Have you tried "Paste Text Only" from the Edit menu? It will paste unformatted text only with tabs delimiters. If you need the formatting, that is, if the text in the table is colored, for example, then do this: 1) ...
