Thanks

Re: Question about Edit--->Complete Feature
I cannot find anymore
Preferences -> General under Document Options, check 'Suggest completions as you type'.
How do I implement this function, or have the Complete function always active?
Thanks

Re: Complete
It seems that now (version 2.1.1) it is not possible anymore to have autocomplete turned on all the time. You have to hit esc anytime you want to have the list of autocomplete words to appear. Sigh! Thanks PS. Maybe I posted this on the wrong forum, because I am talking about Nisus Writer Pro and no...

Re: "Superscript" & "Show invisibles" fail to display in 2.1
Cute icons! To be more clear: 1. There are many menu functions 3. there are few icons available that do not cover the number of the menu functions 3. you must provided yourself the file/icon if you want a custom icon for a menu function. One question for Hamid: where did you get those icons? How big...

Re: "Superscript" & "Show invisibles" fail to display in 2.1
Yes, you are right: the icons are now the same. Because I did not use any custom icon for the toolbar I was not aware that previous version had different (many?) icons. Where are these icons located? Not inside the soft itself: which is strange… Maybe it is not difficult to have more choices in a ne...

Re: Nisus 2.1 Character Palette bug. Confirmed
Dear Martin, thanks! The reset palettes terminal trick worked. Fine. To help with solving the little bug of the ghost box on some palettes here is what I have discovered: 1. the bug is relative only to palettes that are extendable down: for instance Character and Languages etc. 2. the only palette o...

Re: "Superscript" & "Show invisibles" fail to display in 2.1
Dear Vitaka, I think that there are no icons for Superscript or Show invisibles (this is similar to version 2.07). The number of available icons is limited. You may use one icon from an external file. Nisus does not have an icon for each menu item (Copy for instance has 9 variations or sub menus). P...

Re: "Superscript" & "Show invisibles" fail to display in 2.1
It seems that the icons for the toolbars functions are limited. So it may be possible to use the same icon for a different function. It is strange. So when you try to Add a custom toolbar item you are presented with a short list of icons that you may use for different functions: this is very confusi...

Re: Nisus 2.1: few questions
Thanks Martin! The iCloud system is very buggy and unpredictable, I prefer dropbox or other services. Moreover any file created by Nisus in rtf and saved on iCloud could not be opened by Pages for instance. So it is useless… Palettes: I hope that you can resolve the ugly bug I discovered (I think…):...

Re: Nisus 2.1: few questions
Thanks for your quick answer, Martin. To stick to the points: 1. So Nisus adopts the dictionaries installed in the MacOsx Dictionary program. This is great, because I have two Italian Dictionaries that I can make use of. But it is not clear to me the mechanism: in fact I can also reach the Dictionar...

Nisus 2.1 Character Palette bug. Confirmed and now SOLVED
It seems that there is a bug on the Character Palette. If you click the little triangle to collapse the palette, the palette closes but a " box ghost" with the list of the the fonts remain open above other palettes. Strange. Anybody else is having this issue? A picture is attached. On the ...

Nisus 2.1: few questions
Thanks for the update: very nice! I am trying it and it is working fine. I have 3 questions: 1. I am using the Italian spellcheck and in the language space it does appear a kind of definition (not well formatted) of the actual word. Is the dictionary used the one included inside the program? It is p...

Re: How do you find all word forms?
Thank you Adrian! This seems a nice feature. But I am looking for another function (and I suppose it requires a complicated macro, if it is possible…). The function (macro) should be able to highlight all the worlds that are repeated in the document. I came across this because I was building a word ...
