Is it possible edit a .dot template file.

Is it possible to edit (not create a new .rtf document with) a .dot template.
I know you can resave the newly created .rtf as a .dot file, but is there
a more direct way?

Is there a way to make a custom color chosen with
Format >> Highlight stick?

After highlighting some text, I'd like my custom color
to become the default. Instead, it seems to revert to
the default, which is a too-bright yellow.

The trouble with this "work around" is that it doesn't really address the problem: If you have 20 chapters one would have to have twenty different header definitions, each referencing the associated chapter. A true solution or work-around would put the current chapter's in the header, so t...

OK... I'm probably overlooking the obvious, but suppose I've defined
