Re: Default Zoom % List

Hi Philip and credneb --

I hadn't thought about those options. I really like the Idea of checking the state, since then it's always just the same hotkey to get me wherever I want.

Thanks!

Re: Default Zoom % List

Thanks, Philip. I actually already have a macro set up, but depending on the View (Page, Draft, Fullscreen), the percentage that seem comfortable seems to vary. Rather than introduce a hotkey combo for each, I was hoping to just add to the list and be able to sequence through them with the CMD +/- k...

Default Zoom % List

Is there a way to add to the list of zoom settings? For example, at the bottom right corner, it has . . . 100%, 125%, 150%, 200% . . . sometimes 150% is a bit small and 200% is a bit big. No real problem to do a manual pinch zoom, but it would be nice to just hit CMD+ and get, say 175% or so, rather...

Re: How to transfer ALL NWP preferences and settings to new

Have you tried using:

~/Desktop/com.nisus.NisusWriter.plist

Instead of:

MMi5/Desktop/com.nisus.NisusWriter.plist

Re: Character Styles and Attribute Problems (Linux Libertine

There is a font called Libertinus Serif, which is a fork of Linux Libertine. It addressed a few issues. Not sure if it would address the issues you had.

Re: Since Sierra -- NWP dialog: can't find Untitled

Thanks for fixing this in the 2.1.6 release!

Frankly, it's awesome that you watch your boards so closely, and respond to user issues that quickly.

Since Sierra -- NWP dialog: can't find Untitled

Ever since the Sierra upgrade, I've noticed an odd dialog box displayed (periodically) when I start NWP. Text in the box says: Bookmark data previously captured for a file is invalid. File path: ~/Documents/Nisus Documents/Untitled.rtf It seems to occur when I open Nisus Writer Pro *after* I quit an...

Re: Italics in Word Export

FWIW, this does not seem to occur in Word 2016.

If you're out there, Martin, and I'm sure you are, it appears you're right about this being a bug in Word 2011.

Re: Italics in Word Export

You know, I stand corrected -- the font does seem to matter in a way. If the font does not have an italic version, it does not double-italicize. If you crack open the rtf in something like TextWrangler, and compare it to an rtf made in TextEdit (which does not show the issue) you can see a differenc...

Re: Italics in Word Export

Thanks to you both for your replies. I've tried "saving as" and exporting as a doc and docx, and the issue appears no matter the route. Interesting that it disappeared for you, Martin, but thanks for taking a look. Indeed, as you found, Word applied a forced italics to the italicized font face inste...

Italics in Word Export

Hi, When I export to Word, or open an rtf in word, I've noticed something strange with italics. It seems that in Word, any text that was in italics appears in the italicized font with a slanted faux-italics (a mathematical slant, or pseudo-italics) applied in addition to the italicized typeface. (At...
