Documents folder

Should the Documents folder that contains all my Nisus files be placed in users/cass_mm or in iCloud Drive/Documents?

How can I restore my macros?

My Macros folder has become irregular, all my fault. When I try to follow Hamid's instructions, here on the Forum, to drag the library/Application Support/Nisus Writer folder to the desktop, there is no Nisus Writer folder there. Shall I just restore my NWP 3.2.2. If so, how do I do that? Michael Ca...

Re: text color

In Preferences < Menu Keys > Format > Text Colors I have set CMD RED for red, CMD BLA for black, CMD BLU for blue, etc. I currently have 12 choices. I select the text that I want to change the color of, press the command key and type the appropriate abbreviation, and, as credneb says, the change is ...

Re: Macros not working in Mojave

Thanks, Adrian, but that didn’t work. Is this possibly a "sandbox" problem?

Macros not working in Mojave

Twice the re-installation of Mojave has caused the separation of Nisus Writer from my macros, which are invaluable to me. Where should I place the NWP macros folder?

Re: How to convert Perl script macros for opening documents

Thanks, Capvideo, but with the straight quote removed I now get the message Perl reported an error: Can't find string terminator "`" anywhere before EOF at /Users/cass_mm/Documents/Nisus Documents/Macros/open journal.pl line 3. (I've never understood macros; I've simply copied other Nisus ...

How to convert Perl script macros for opening documents

How can I convert my old Perl Script macros for opening documents so that they work in NWP 2.1? Here's the one I used most frequently, but I have several others I'd also like to make work again. #!/usr/bin/perl `open -a "Nisus Writer Pro" '~/Documents/MIKE/JOURNALS/2010s/2016/02.16.rtf` # ...

Re: All of the sudden, Nisus won't open

Now I have the problem. There's only one copy of NWP (2.1.3) on my computer. When I try to open NWP the "Nisus Writer Pro unexpectedly quit" screen opens. When I click on "Reopen" I'm repeatedly taken back to the screen. I've deleted my NWP 2.1.3 and re-installed it. That didn't ...

NWP 2.1.3 won't open

Suddenly Nisus Writer Pro 2.1.3 won't reopen. I get the "Nisus Writer Pro quit unexpectedly" screen and when I click on "Reopen" the screen just reappears until i click on "OK." I have reinstalled NWP 2.1.3. It still won't open. I have zapped the PRAM. What else can I d...
