I'm trying to change it to
Ctrl-CMD-T
It "takes" in the Preference box, but not in the actual menu.

Special Menu Keys
I would like to change the menu keys used to select View->Show Tooldrawer. However, in the Preferences panel a yellow caution icon reads, "Currently bound to 'Tooldrawer'" and displays "Shift-CMD-D". I cannot change it. Two things indicate to me that it should be changeable: (1) The programmers' use...

Files, too
... and if you paste in
you will create a link to any file. Click on this word in your document, and it will open the file in Nisus Writer, or launch the appropriate application to open whatever document it is.

Carriage Return vs. Newline vs. Linefeed
NWX 2.x.x is making it impossible for me to create tab-delimited text files that will import into some applications (such as Now-Up-to-Date). A file saved as TEXT/ASCII by Nisus Writer places a Linefeed (hex 0A) at the end of every line, instead of a Carriage Return (hex 0D). Se...

Neat Use for Hyperlink Feature
One of my favorite features in NWX is the ease with which I can make any word or phrase a hyperlink. But the link doesn't have to be an http:// link to a web location. It can be anything. You can use it to open folders by clicking on a word. For example, paste into the hyperlink box: file://localhos...

Preference Menu Error
I am unable to open the Preferences panel in v26b2. Each time I select it from the Nisus Writer Express menu, I get an "Internal error" dialog. I have submitted Feedback.
I launch v2.5, and everything is normal.
All this is in 10.3.9 on a G5.

That's something I hadn't thought of. It works. Thanks!

Macros for Tool Drawer
Using AppleScript or Menu Macros, how do I access settings in the Tool Drawer? In the AppleScript dictionary, there is no Attribute for paragraph spacing. This Menu Macro returns an error: Tools: What I’m trying to automate is setting Paragraph Spacing After to 2, as in: Tools:Paragraph:Spacing:Afte...

Linkback and OmniOutliner
OmniOutliner 3.5 is now Linkback enabled. However, I cannot get OmniOutliner and NWX 2.5 to link. Any document belonging to one application, dragged into the other application does nothing. Any content pasted from one application into the other becomes merely text with no link. OmniOutliner has a Li...

Guide and Help Errata
Instructions in the Guide and Help file for Nisus Writer Express 2.5 contradict each other in a number of places. Evidently, neither was spell-checked well, if at all. (1) In the Help file, Figure 47 and Figure 49 are two different images, yet their captions purport to show the First Line Indent mar...
