Henry,
You are correct. That would be a very nice thing to be able to do. Implementing it is very high on our official "to-do" list.

We are aware that we have been, and continue to be, very quiet regarding our development efforts. This happens to be our company culture. Please be sure that we are not resting on our laurel...

Re: Copy text with comments
Indeed, you can copy text with the comments included. Select the text containing the comments and paste that text ( do not use Paste Text Only ) in the new location (it could be another document, or elsewhere in the same document). Your comments are copied and pasted, whether or not they are showing...

Re: Starting page numbering after page one
Hi Eric, I think that the part of the User's Guide you are interested is this (on page 152): Have your header and/or footer appear on the second and succeeding pages of your document and no number appear on the first (“First Page Special”) ▶ Click Different First Page in the Header/Footer palette of...

Re: Chinese Writers Please - Input Application Recommendatio
CartesianProduct2, We are pleased to have this discussion continue here. I'm sure we'll all be able to learn something from it. However, I'm curious/puzzled. You write that you "have tried the native Chinese input method bundled with OS10 but it is cumbersome and inefficient". I know that ...

Hi MichaelM,
I'm sorry you experience difficulties with Nisus Writer Pro.
I'm puzzled. Do you see the icon? What happens when you do click it?
What happens if you choose Add Comment from the Comments submenu of the insert menu? Does that work?

AZjack, I'm sorry you experience difficulties with Nisus Writer Pro. I don't know exactly what you are doing that causes the problems you describe, but let's see if we can't start at the beginning. It seems that part of the confusion you experience is due to the presumption on the part of the User's...

Re: Using Macros or other features to insert html code
tarakananda, I apologize for "assuming too much". Do you know what I mean by "macro"? Do you know how to create a macro in Nisus Writer Pro? Perhaps the easiest way to solve this would be for you to create a new macro using the command in the Find/Replace window. But, at the mome...

You can see earlier versions of the Start-up screen in the User's Guide. Search for the phrase "The Nisus Men of the Past". And, a history of the early development of Nisus Writer Classic is available in Joe Kissell's book The Nisus Way (last updated sometime around 1999). Click "Hist...
