That should be nice to have in NWP as well. I use it frequently in Mellel and it's one of the reasons I use Mellel instead of NWP while writing academic texts.

You mean like how Bookends works together with Live Bibliography in Mellel?joseph_anton wrote: ↑2018-10-27 01:39:01 I was thinking of the ability to see how citations and the bibliography will look in the final version in real time during the writing process, and not during the final scan.

Re: Textexpander and NW3
The main reason for the switch was the fact that I do not like their subscription model for the newer versions of TE. And the Typinator worked better on my MBP. The TextExpander had far more problems than I have ever experienced with Typinator. I haven’t regretted the switch at all. Typinator works ...

Re: QuickLook plugin for .rtf files
It seems to me that QuickLook is not working for graphics within rtf files created by NWP 2 or 3. Tested with jpg and png.

Re: Textexpander and NW3
I do not know about version 4.3.6, but 5.1.4 is working with NW3. I do not use TextExpander anymore, prefer Typinator nowadays.

Re: the ^ circumflex in Nisus
I use Nisus in tandem with Bookends. Therefore, i sometimes have to add a ^ (circumflex) to a reference, like in {^Johnsson, 2012, #32157}. When I add the circumflex and try to click somewhere else the cursor doesn't move - I have to move it with the right-arrows. It's really not a big problem, I'l...

Re: Wawati SC
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately the Font Book that comes with Sierra (10.12.6 - v 7.0) does not include the suggested choice in its Preferences. By the way no other text processor on my machine behaves like this either nor did I have the problem before installing Sierra. I've got the same ...

Re: Drag and drop gone
My experience is that I need to wait three seconds for Drag & Drop to work in NWP. Works instantaneously in other apps (machine is MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012)) My experience is that it works instantly in NWP as well in more or less all other applications I have used. (MBP 15-inch, Mid 2012,...

Re: Splitting a page horizontally
I may have misunderstood the discussion, but I think I prefer to have the page split vertical, just like it's possible with the iPad in the new iOS, i.e. having the pages side by side. I would be happy with either, ecstatic with both. Agree. Let us have both and then we can decide what to us...

Re: NW Pro and the iPad Pro Revisited
Although I just now joined the Forum, I have been using NW Pro on my Mac for a long time. However, on the iPad, I still haven't found a solution that really appeals to me, not Word, or Pages or anything else I have tried. I see that Mellel has recently come out with a word processor for iOS that is...

Re: Nanum Pen Script
I'm glad you solved the problem and prevented the annoying alert. I want to clarify this: More or less every time I launch NPW I get a message box telling me that I have to download Nanum Pen Script. Why is the NWP keep telling this? It's actually not Nisus Writer showing this alert, but the system...

Re: Nanum Pen Script
Hi Peter, I think Nanum Pen Script is a Korean font that also includes Latin characters. Did you ever download this font? Search for it on your computer (using Find Any File or EasyFind .) Check also your FontBook . Fonts can be disabled and deleted there. Why is the NWP keep telling this? I don't ...

Nanum Pen Script
More or less every time I launch NPW I get a message box telling me that I have to download Nanum Pen Script. Why is the NWP keep telling this? I have apparently two options according to the message box A. Download it by clicking on the button »download», B. Skip it to next launch. If I click on opt...
